If you play courses that have water surrounding fairways or greens or if you play courses where your disc can be lost in tall trees, this is the answer to saving your favorite discs! Using this retriever just a few times will pay for itself if you were to have to replace 3 $20 discs because you can't retriever them otherwise. I use this retriever to keep myself safe from water than shouldn't be entered or from climbing tall trees to retrieve discs, especially cedar trees. A must have for any disc golfer
This retriever has be a LIFE SAVER!!!
I have yet to lose a disc when I can see it in bushes, water, or stuck high in a tree. This retriever is long enough and sturdy enough to get them back. I love the attachments, but mainly use the hooks.
I would say that this belongs in anyone's bag.
This is a pretty nifty idea for a retriever.
The foldable head is pretty functional and convenient to move it out of the way. It is also nice to have the hook and the cage head to rescue a disc that has gone astray. The length of this retriever is impressive! It reaches super far, pretty sweet.
The swivel head and the extra length are nice in idea. But in execution, I find that it is a little clunky. The swivel head moves around a lot more than I would like it to. I tightened the swivel point down, which made it stiffer. But it still moved around more than I would like, though, it is much better than before.
I also find that the length (when it extended fully) makes it difficult to maneuver.
Regardless of these things, I find this tool very useful. For the most part, the tool works well, and saves my discs.
