I have the V1. I use it for field work. 33 drivers. Yup, max and tight, nothing in the small side pockets, 33 drivers. I had to restitch the strap anchors to make them more durable but 4 times a week for the last 8 months I've lugged this thing out to the field for drive practice. I don't know about carrying this thing around the course. I just don't need that many discs in a game but I do know I have packed 33 drivers max into it and it serves its purpose as a range bag good. Probably going to get another just for putters and mids. ??

Not heavy duty. After using this bag for about a year, I'm already looking to replace it. If you only plan on carrying discs and a single bottle of water, I'm sure it'll be fine. If you lug around multiple bottles of water, sunscreen, bug spray towels and about 12 discs, the bag just can't handle the load. Seams are beginning to separate, anchor points are just about done for.

OVERALL:  I've have this bag for about four months now and absolutely love it. I recommend it to everyone who needs the extra space and either does not like backpacks or does not want to spend that kind of money.  Its the perfect bag for intermediate recreational players like myself.  I read the previous review about its durability.  While I've had no issues with the material or craftsmanship, it does come with a warranty if you save your original purchase receipt.

DESCRIPTION:  The bag holds 18-22 discs as promised.  I carry 20 in the main compartment comfortably with no trouble pulling them out.  The central disc compartment comes with two dividers that velcro to the side so that you can either remove them or change the size based on personal taste.  I personally use them to divide the compartment into three equal sections that hold my putters, mid-range, and drivers.  When I don't want to carry 20 discs, I'll use it to store 7 discs in each of the outside sections and use the central section for whatever I want that day, such as a hand towel or extra water bottle.

The putter pocket isn't as deep as it appears in the picture but carries two discs snugly without fear of losing them.  I would worry about using it with only one putter since it would be loose. I could envision a bush or tree branch knocking a putter out without your knowledge.

The bottom of the internal compartment is shaped to form-fit discs in the bag.  The bottom of the exterior is hard and has four knobs/coasters, one on each corner to protect the bag when you set it down.  I've used this bag 3x week for four months and have seen no visible wear and tear on the coasters or bottom of the bag.

The two zippered side compartments are great.  They are big enough to fit a baseball hat and a couple hand towels each. Great for keys, wallet, rings, etc...  The bottle holders work well but, like most bags, only work well with 20oz bottles.  I've had problems with stainless steel bottles slipping out of their holders when I bend over.  The internal material of the bottle holder could use a little grip.

Length wise, the bag looks fairly long but it doesn't carry that way.  One of the features I like about this bag is its balance.  Each side of the bag contains the same pockets so that that bag balances well when you carry it.   I use the original straps that came with the bag and usually huck the Nucleus like a carrier bag.  I've tried the backpack straps and do not care for them.  While many like them, I find that the weight sits a little too low and slightly affects my posture.  I think the bag is extremely comfortable over the shoulder and on my hip.

One of the few negatives of this bag is that there is no real design to store the top cover when you're playing.  The top cover zips open towards your body and away from the putter pouch.  There is a velcro strip in the middle of the top of the cover that corresponds to a velcro strip on the side of the bag opposite the putter pouch.  I believe MVP envisioned that you would fold the cover over and velcro it to the bag.  Unfortunately, another velcro strip on the end of the underside of the cover that attaches to the putting pouch side faces your body when you fold the cover back.  It gets stuck to my shorts and can irritate your skin.  Ultimately, I just roll the cover back and fold it into the bag itself.  I've started using a large binder clip and that does the trick.  Not a deal breaker by any means, but still a design flaw that could be easily corrected.   On the positive side, the cover can provide protection from the elements and is ideal when playing in humid or drizzling conditions.

When I first got this bag, I would have highly recommended it.  Now that I have had it for about 11 months, I would recommend you stay away.  I have had a few parts break, some in the first month of having the bag.  I kept going, ignoring the little things that would break, zipper issues and the cord that tightens around the drink carriers, things of that sort.  The last time I was out, the part that holds my back pack straps snapped.  The side zipper section is now always open, due to a gaping hole in the bag.  As a back pack it is now completely useless.  I have seen, and played, with people who have been using the same bag for years.  This bag didn't even make it one.  Keep searching, find a better bag.

This bag is great! So much more space and storage when compared to my old innova starter bag. The two water bottle holders easily handle one liter water bottles. The shoulder strap padding is big and helps to evenly spread the weight of the bag out. Fits two putters in the front putter pockets with ease and they feel secure. The added mini pockets are a nice touch for little things that may get lost in the bigger pockets. All in all a great purchase.
