I have used this bag for about two years now and don't plan on changing soon. I think this is the best bag for any beginner to intermediate player. If you are looking for a bag to hold around 20 discs this is perfect for you. The pocket on top has space for four discs and the bottom pocket holds around 16 dependent if you have fewer midranges it can hold more. The two side pockets on top are great for holding your phone, wallet, mini or other things like that. The water bottle holder is a good size and keeps the bottle from falling out. The other pocket is a great size for all of your other items. Over the two years I have used it in many conditions and it has held up really well. If you are a beginner to intermediate player or are playing shorter courses with less need for a lot of discs this is the perfect bag.

good bag to start with, but does have a tendency to tip over.  put pvc frame in the bottom for stability and lost maybe 1 or 2 disc space

I can't complain for the price. Doesn't carry a ton of discs if you have a lot of mids and putters but for most people it will get the job done at a significantly lower price. Definitely worth the money if you carry 12-18 discs. My current setup has 4 mids, 6 putters, and 7 drivers and it's about as full as I am comfortable with. Discs close to the sides of the bag tend to be a bit harder to squeeze out because the fabric overhangs. So if it is at max capacity those 2 or 3 discs on each side get really hard to access.

Great bag if you have 15-20 discs in your bag. One to be careful for all beginners! Get you bag only AFTER you get your discs! This bag will make you feel empty and sad if it is not filled! Try to actually get discs before buying this so you don't feel bugged of having less discs

This bag is great for the beginner who is moving up from your weekend bag to something a little bigger. I got this in the beginning so I could carry more discs to the park for practice. It worked great.  But now that I'm progressing and playing with more discs I can see small things that are starting to bug me.  I have 18 discs in the main pouch and 4 putters in the putter pouch. The putter pouch is good but the opening isn't wide enough for multiple discs to pulled in and put back. It's a little snug. It will hold them, just hard to take them out and put em back.  Same with the main pouch. It's tough to reach the discs closest to the sides because the opening isn't wide.  So it serves its purpose for the price but if you're moving up to intermediate I suggest more of a wider opening bag

An awesome bag for a beginning player who has outgrown their starter should bag. Once I became addicted and realized I needed more storage for discs and personal items on the course I upgraded from my Dynamic Discs shoulder bag to the Trooper. The Trooper looks great and I've only had pleasant experiences with the bag. Not going to be the best bag for a more serious disc golfer, but the perfect bag for someone getting into the sport who's not ready to drop big $$$ on the bigger bags.

I am newer disc golf player. After a few months of starting to acquire discs, I new it was time for a proper bag that wasn't just an extra backpack I had laying around the house. For the price point, This bag is a great deal. It holds plenty of discs for a beginner that is still building their bag. The water bottle pocket can hold a large 32oz water bottle, and the stash pockets are great for holding you keys, phone, wallet, birdie bag, etc. I keep two putters in the top pocket, but you could use that for extra storage if you wanted to. There isn't a ton of space for extra items, but it is compact and can store most of what you will need for a round. If you want to stash a sweat shirt or carry a 6-pack with you, you'll have to get very creative or need to find a larger bag. Overall This bag is great and has held up pretty well thus far after owning it for a couple months.

This backpack is pretty good. Except for a few things the strap on the putter pouch folds in very easily if you get the wrong material it could rip. But everything else is super fun you really want to get this bag if you want a bag that is pretty good with not a lot of price if not I suggest getting the infinite discs stuff Bag

This is a great bag for starting out and wanting to keep it for a while. The only problem I have is that it is starting to tear and the top of the bag, right above the top zipper and I have only had it for about a month or less now, hopefully it doesn't tear enough to where I need a new bag. Other than that, an amazing bag.

This bag is eh. It will get the job done in holding 18 discs but at the bare minimum. I would give it a much higher rating if the pocket on the top had more space for discs to come in and out especially with a normal set of 3 or 4 putters in the pocket. I'm still using it but I won't for much longer since there are more bags that can get the job done with more capabilities at the same or cheaper price.

Great Bag for beginners. Great price. This was my first bag holds about 18-20 discs. Has 1 water bottle holder. Room for snacks, keys, small items, but not a jacket or rain jacket. There is no hard bottom if the ground is wet, so it will get wet. I does have a tendency to fall or tip over if on uneven ground.

But all in all great construction and price point for you first bag.

I've had this bag for over a year now, and I have to say, it's extremely well constructed. I've played in all kinds of weather, in all kinds of places, from swamps to harsh rocky quarries, and it's held up without a single issue. You can fit 20 discs in the main compartment easily, especially if you bag mostly drivers. For the putter compartment, you can fit 4 high-profile putters with ease, though this may cause the bag to tip over rather easily. The cup holder can accommodate even larger bottles, and the hidden back pocket is plenty large for a wallet and keys. Ogio makes excellent bags, and this one is no exception. If you want to get a backpack but don't want to spend the big bucks on a mainstream model, this is an excellent purchase.

This is a fantastic bag in every area from construction to price to usability. This was my first backpack style bag that I bought with some payout from a tournament. I chose it because it was a new small bag from Dynamic and I wasn't ready to get a full size backpack. I had heard great things about their bags, and let me tell you they do not disappoint! A very sturdy construction for a small bag and practical as well. It has two fairly large zipper pockets and 1 drink holder that will hold a 32 oz bottle. The main compartment holds about 20 discs for me, but I carry mostly drivers so it might fit less if you carry more mids and putters. Top putter pocket is big enough for 4 discs if you really want to stretch the space, but this can cause it to topple over when you set it down. Although its not my primary bag anymore because of size, its perfect for when you want to play a quick round and only take a condensed version of your full bag. The best bag for the money on the market in my opinion.

This bag was fantastic. It held a ton of discs and was super sturdy. My dog dragged it halfway around the world and it still came back for more. Gifted to my little brother and its still kickin like a champ.

This is a great bag for someone starting out in disc golf and doesn't want to break the bank on a expensive bag. I received this in a tournament a year ago in the player pack, I had a DD soldier bag I used but was quickly running out of room and would have to change out discs to get my bag where I needed depending on the weather and how I was throwing that day. This bag had more space and I could easily get around 18-20 discs in the main compartment and the putter pocket is very spacious. I believe I got 5 putters in it but they were difficult to get out and I went down to 4 after that before I settled on just the 3 I primarily use. This is overall a good bag and my son now uses it. There were several problems I had with it too though. One huge problem to me is storage, there is hardly none in this bag with just two side pockets on the same side and you can't get much in those. A mini, wallet, keys, and maybe a scorecard holder and that's it for one of them and the other isn't much bigger. I feel they could've put the upper side pocket on both of the sides and it would've added so much more to this bag. Another is it never wanted to stay upright when I would sit it down, I would have to watch how I sat it down to make sure it would stay upright. Also once you start to cap it out with the discs in it it would become harder to get certain discs out, I normally put my discs in from utility<mid<fairway<control<max d. I would sometimes have to take a mid or fairway out to be able to get into the right side to get out a distance driver out.

If you are wanting a bag for a quick round with go to discs for whenever you may want to hit a round and keep this in the vehicle or if your wanting to try out a backpack style, this is a good bag for that. But if you carry quite a few discs or want storage then you may want to go up to a nicer bag.

As a all year player. I drag this thing through some less than bag friendly places. the only thing i don't care for is that the bag falls over a lot .oh and it likes to roll down hills but other thoughts the bag is great.

This is the perfect starter bag in my opinion. $40 is a great price point to get a bag that will last, but also won't break the bank. It holds everything that I need for a quick round of dg, and that's all I typically play. May not be the best bag for a tournament, as there's no good storage for snacks or jacket or umbrella or any of that extra stuff. But it has small pockets for phone and keys and wallet and a water bottle holder. It holds plenty of discs for a round and even has the putter compartment. So it has everything I need for majority of rounds I play. Would recommend

For $40 and being able to hold 18-20 discs, this backpack is fantastic. There's two pockets on the side for easy storage of keys/wallet/phone/mini. In addition the backpacks also incredibly light. The water bottle holder holds my 32 ounce Nalgene and is adjustable. It's a bit difficult to remove discs on the very edges of the bag once 16+ are in the bottom compartment and the top half has difficulty initially fitting in the 4th putter. You're able to fit 3 in really easily and then just slide the 4th one in between the others. Honestly for $40, you're not gonna find a better bag.

This back pack is awesome. Bag fit 17 discs on bottom half , 3 putters, 5 midranges, and 9 drivers in bottom half . Perhaps if I took out the putters , and replaced drivers , could fit 18 to 20 discs. And top hatch fit 3 putters well. When back pack is on, it feels like it's a part of your body.  For roughly 40 dollars. It's a grand slam. At least for me when bag set on ground, it didn't tip over. I bought a 20 dollar discraft satchel style carrier, and it didn't stay up straight, wasn't comfortable at all. My point is spend 20 more dollars. And you have a sweet back pack. Really satisfied with this purchase. Can't beat the quality for the price if you don't want to spend a h 100 dollars on higher end back packs.

This is an awesome little backpack.  I bought this for my girlfriend to use since she has gotten more into the sport.  For $40 this bag is perfect.  It has plenty of disc storage, It holds as many discs as my Grip BX.  The bag out of the box is a little flimsy so I bought some corrugated plastic and cut it to the same size as the base of the bag to help stiffen it up and so far this is working great.  The side storage pockets are just enough to store your phone, keys, wallet and a pair of sunglasses and the water bottle holder has plenty of room in it.  It holds a 32 O. Hydroflask no problem.  I highly recommend this bag to someone who is looking for their first backpack bag or someone who wants a smaller bag for those short rounds.

Excellent bag however I want to start by prefacing with this with if you're looking for a bag to compete with... probably not the best choice as there is no mini holder, towel holder, and limited overall storage.

To rate it to that standard would not be fair though. This is for casual rounds, practice, for people who want something better than a $15 starter bag but don't want to drop $100. It delivers beyond expectations! Keep in mind that most of this review is based on that this is a budget friendly option.

The materials are very sturdy. I live in CO and am out playing nearly everyday with this bag and setting it down on the rough dry dirt and rocks has not torn into the material at all. The stitching is also of noteable quality and is reinforced at points of high tension to ensure durabiliy.  I routinely pick the bag off the ground using just a single shoulder strap or the handle on top and have not seen any wear or sign of stretching there at all.

The shoulder straps are nicely padded and covered with a breatheable mesh material as is certain portions of the back which adds to the comfortability when wearing this in the heat. Really good adjustment range on the shoulder straps also. I'd say even larger people shouldn't have much issue with this bag.

Zippers are also of decent quality. I actually after about 5 months had a zipper break and DD replaced the bag for me under warranty with no hassle.

Drink holder can easily fit even the largest of mugs. I have large yetis and no issue there. Draw string is a nice touch. Has a grommet on the bottom so if you have a spill it won't soil in the holder. Can easily fit two normal water bottles(16.9oz) at once as well.

Storage wise it can hold 20 comfortably. I know it says 2 putters up top but I have no issue with having 4 into there (can squeeze in 5 but not ideal). Bottom can hold about 18-20. There are two side pockets that are okay for small things like wallet, keys, etc. Not enough to carry spare clothing or a towel at all. The compartment can hold the DD disc retriever if you like to bring that along. Also the shoulder straps do have little straps for you to hook sunglasses on which is nice.

If you're not satisfied with the cheaper starter bags and don't want to drop nearly $100 on something for disc golf this is the best option, hands down.

I like the size, it's really comfy. I like the storage, except there is no D-ring for a towel. I have to hook one onto the carry handle.  It's a great kids bag.

You get what you pay for. And what you're paying for is a modest entry level backpack that will carry mostly everything you need. For starters, the 20 disc capacity is a good amount. It'll have most people covered there. My only complaint is the discs on the edges can be difficult to get to and pull out because of the fabric in the way, but it's manageable and no big deal in the overall picture. I wish they could've put two water bottle holders on this bag personally. Sometimes 32 ounces isn't enough. I think the storage pockets are adequate for having only two. It will hold you bare necessities and maybe a light snack if necessary. The bag holds up well with use. I have used it as my main bag for every round for the last 5 months and see no major rips or anything like that. One frustrating downfall is that the bag will tend to fall backwards if you set it down quickly or you're on a slope. I just usually lean it forward a bit when I set it down. All in all, for $40, this bag is worth the price. It will save your shoulder unlike shoulder bags for most. If you want to get an entry-level bag for cheap, the trooper is a good option.

My casual/ backup bag. perfect for most day to day play for even the most advanced player, if you leave the backups at home. my only half complaint is that the upper pocket can fit like 5 putters if u try abit, but all that extra weight does cause the bags to collapse a bit. now this isn't a real complaint. I know this is not made for that much weight, and has 0 frame to speak of, so this is totally expected. for the $ there cannot be a truly better option for myself.

    Awesome Disc Golf Back Pack!

I've had this bag for almost a year now and have found it perfect for getting in a quick round over my lunch break. I typically carry 16-18 discs in the main compartment and 3 putters up top.  The more you try to pack in the harder it is to get the discs on the ends in and out. The bottom is starting to show some wear now on the corners. Also, when I set the bag down I have noticed it does tip over easy. I'm sure there are some modifications I can do to the bottom of the bag to fix this. For the price and quality of everything else about the bag I really don't mind if I have to buy one of these every couple years!

I wasn't sure if this bag could possibly be good for the price, but I was happily proven wrong. Easily holds 18 discs, maybe 20 if it's tight. Backpack feel and style without paying over $100? Yes, please. Great for beginners, more advanced tourney players might want something a little bigger with more storage, but its plenty good for me.

    This bag is absolutely amazing.

I wanted to upgrade from an over the shoulder bag that most people start out with, but didn't want to spend a fortune.

First, this bag is lightweight and not too big (sits around middle part of back) and also holds around 16ish* discs (estimate as I put putters in the main compartment). The material is nice and even after using it everyday for months it still holds up well. It is not waterproof but it does well in the rain, meaning it does not damage the bag that much.

This bag comes with a top compartment that can be used for putters or is big enough to hold 12oz cans, whatever you may want to put in there. The water bottle holder on the side holds up to a 60oz water bottle, but if you have a water bottle at 16oz it still securely holds the bottle without fear of it falling it.

Overall, this bag has sustained a lot of use and has shown NO signs of wear and tear and for the price it is definitely worth it. I personally like this bag better than most of my friend's bags because of how light weight it is and how easy it is to carry throughout multiple rounds.

I purchased this bag for my 10 year old because he wanted a backpack style of bag, the small shoulder strap style was awkward for him to tote around. For $40 bucks I thought why not. This has been a great purchase, it is small and lightweight and can hold numerous disc and accessories. Personally, I have  found that this is the perfect disc golf  bag when traveling on a plane. It is more compact than my ranger bag which is nice, but still allows me to pack numerous disc along with other gear. We have also found that the large easy access compartments make it a great day pack for scouting events. Overall a great entry level backpack from OGEO and Dynamic.

I've had this bag for a couple of months now and it is very comfortable and very sturdy. However, as well made and inexpensive as this bag is, there are a few issues I have found with it. This bag will hold 4 mid-ranges, and 14 fairway/distance drivers in its main compartment and 4 putters in its top putter. All of these discs will fit comfortably in the bag with room for them to be wiggled inside the bag. My biggest issue and complaint about this bag is that in order to reach the discs against the outer walls of the bag, I have to either bend the disc or remove some in the middle to remove the end discs normally. This is because of the opening created by the zipper is too small so you cannot pull the discs on the ends straight out.

If you are thinking about purchasing this bag, I am not going to stop you. However, please be aware about this issue that I have found.

For the money, you cant beat this pack. Ive had it for 3 rounds now and its comfortable, light weight, and will hold all the stuff youll ever need on the course. I have this pack maxxed out as far as storage goes. 8 distance drivers, 7 fairway, 4 midrange in the bottom compartment. I would say thats the max disc's it will hold without being a pain to get in and out. Not to mention 4 putters in the top compatment with room for 1 more or a mini. Great pack for a great price!
