The Dynamic Discs Trooper Backpack is a great introduction to the disc golf bac
The BP-3 V3 comes in a Nylon Ripstop Fabric, making it scratch, tear, and water resistant, while the taped zipper seams and waterproof bottom panel remain for extra protection. The material is now more durable and still lightweight.
Prodigy has added a front putter pocket to allow easier access to your main putters and free up the top pocket for additional discs or other necessities. There is also a carabiner clip to clip a towel on. The BP-3 V3 holds up to 17 discs in its main compartment and additional discs can go in the deep top pocket. This also has an adjustable 32 oz bottle holder, and two side zipper pockets for valuables along with improved zipper pulls. This is a versatile bag for beginners or more avid, professional players looking for a smaller, more compact option at a great price.

This was the first bag I bought. I was looking to spend $25-30 but wasnt happy with the storage on any of the options I found. This bag is still in a super reachable price range and has everything. The water pockets on the outside can each hold 2x 16.9oz bottles. The middle can easily hold 12 discs and a small piece of glass. The outside pockets hold phone wallet keys and other small items. I use the putter pocket on the front and keep a beanie in the putter pocket on top. I feel like I'll never need more disc space or more storage space. For the price, you'll get the most distance out of this bag.
This was my first bag. And it worked well enough. I soon realized that I would want something bigger, better, sturdier, much more quickly than anticipated. This bag does fit discs, water bottles, and other things, but quickly runs out of space, falls over, and does not maintain its shape. I'd recommend going to bigger in the first bag purchase - because if you are looking for a bag you are already hooked!
Hard to go wrong with this for only 30 buckaroos. Nice step up bag from the beginner stuff without spending yourself into oblivion. Mine has held up really well, all the seams/zippers/pockets have remained tear-free. The bag itself it super light but I do wish it was a bit more stiff and bottom-heavy.
Very good backpack, for the price point. I have had this bag for quite some time now and the dual water bottle is awesome. One I use for the 32oz water bottle, the other I put my collapsible stool from REI. I don't quite agree that the top zipper holds putters, it just seems a touch too small, but I keep a rain jacket/wallet in there. There are also no internal supports so this bag loses its shape. Watertight, especially the bottom covering. Very good bag, for the price point!
I love this bag. This year, I added discs to my collection and decided I needed to upgrade from my shoulder strap style bag. Price was a big factor for me, and I knew the $30-70 price range was what I was targeting. After asking many fellow players, seeing bags on the course, and reading reviews on similar options, I decided to purchase the BP3-V3 in purple.
In my bag, I keep about 6-8 drivers/fairways, 4 mids, and 6-8 putters/approaches in my main compartment, and the built-in dividers make it easy to organize. During a round, I have my two main putters in the front putter pocket. I keep two mini discs in the front mini pocket. In the top pocket I could definitely fit some discs, but I usually just keep my towel in there. I leave that pocket and my main disc pocket unzipped during rounds, and I have never had anything fall out. Both bottle pockets can be cinched to tighten. In one side, I keep my bottle, and in the other side, I have a hockey puck and a granola bar. The only compartments I feel are not the appropriate size are the side pockets. In one side, I keep my grip enhancer sport sack thingy. In the other, I keep my sharpies, wallet, keys, and phone. These pockets can be tricky to reach into if the bag is full, but generally fit what I need.
Final thoughts: For this price range and size, I think this bag is the top notch. Until I want to spend $100+ to gain additional space for clothing or a larger collection, this will be perfect for me. I believe the bag looks super sharp in several of these color options, and the bag materials and zippers seem to be very high quality. Even though I was probably just dumb, I was not able to figure out the in-bag dividers until I watched a quick youtube review. The only times I would prefer more space is if I would like to store a lightweight jacket or an extra shirt or socks or something. Hopefully this helps you out! I have no regrets purchasing this bag.
I got this bag a few months ago and really like it! It has a really premium feel to it with with really nice and sturdy straps and zippers, a quality outer fabric that's almost like a raincoat fabric. The side pockets are great for a phone or keys, the top pocket is advertised as another spot to put a few discs, but it can BARELY fit discs in and you kinda have to work them in and out. That's not really a big deal for me though cause I just use that for a towel or my kids toys if they come with me. :) The main compartment fits between 15 and 20 discs and has some nice removable dividers with a reinforced bottom. Lastly the front putter pouch can hold 3 discs, but I prefer to just have 2 in it. It's a tad bigger than most of the other small dg bags you'll see, but it doesn't seem to weigh much more and I really appreciate the extra pockets and space. All around a great bag and I'd highly recommend.
Huge improvement on the OG Bp3!
This is a great bag.
This bag is constructed with a lot of the materials you find on the higher end Prodigy bags. It holds all the discs I need to throw (16) and I still have room for a few more. The putter pocket is nice for my go-to and I could probably fit one more without a problem. The has 4 zipper pockets, one for discs up above the main pouch, 2 sides, and a skinny one on the putter pocket. Holds plenty of towels, keys phones, etc. Hasn't tipped or ejected and discs while walking.
Basically this bag is worth more that what you pay for it.
