Great bag for the short money. I've had one for about 4 years of hard use. Loaded to max capacity with discs, jacket, water and more water, it has held up better than expected. The velcro is a little worn, a buckle broke (because I stepped on it) and, that's about it. Probably not the most comfortable bag but, it performed beyond expectations. I might get another season out of it before it just becomes a practice/road trip bag.

The Heropack is a quality backpack for a pretty low price, which is the key reason to buy it. However, it also has everything you would need in a bag in terms of features and room for discs. I'm afraid some of the fabric might not be the best, but it's been good so far. The bag itself is quite heavy, so it could be a little hard on your back, but this comes as a trade-off for the durability and storage of the bag.

I've been using my Heropack for 3 years now and have very few criticisms. It does an incredible job of holding everything I need for a round, plus extras for any cardmates that may need help storing their goodies. I ended up buying an attachment for the plastic side inserts. This doubles as a handle and a rigid third connection to make the bag stand up straight on its own. This is a must if you plan on using this bag consistently. There is no lack of storage compartments or space for plastic. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Bought this bag because my collection had outgrown my DD trooper (great beginner bag). This bag is Fantastic. Spacious. carries 20+ discs with room to spare for all my snacks and water. This bag is perfect and durable too. I won't have to buy another one for a really long time.

I got this as a birthday present and instantly had to buy more discs to help fill it. It is comfortable and has room for lots of accessories. I have 25 discs in there comfortably. The price is great and the quality has been great. I have had it for a year now and no problems.

This is a luxury bag for a medium price. First of all, it's great and comfortable. The straps feel good on the shoulders and are padded. All of the discs are easily accessible, even on the edge of both sides of the bag where some cheaper bags may have fabric that gets in the way. This bag could easily hold more 30 discs if you also use the two large main compartments on both sides to hold two discs and put 4 up in the top putter pocket. I don't utilize all of that space for discs, but I'm sure somebody will. I received this bag as part of a players pack for a tournament. My first thoughts were, wow this bag thought of everything from pencil holders to putter pockets. I before used a dynamic discs trooper bag as my main bag and this bag is a lot better for only $40 more dollars. I can easily store two 32 oz water bottles on both sides. My stool and disc retriever were held in very secure thanks to the buckles on both sides of the bag. I had enough pocket space to fit a ton of stuff I never could before while I play such as bug spray and some food for the middle of my rounds in the tournament. There's also two clips for towels or mini bags. I really can't see one issue with this bag. It holds all of your discs(i hope i can speak for everyone here, if not you must bag a ton of discs), it holds two water bottles, it will hold any extra accessories you may have to carry with you. This is an absolute steal for the price. If you want a (what I call) luxury bag for an affordable price, grab the Hero.

Great bag for anyone who is looking for a lot capacity without paying an arm and a leg fits 25 disc easy plenty of pockets for phones or scorecards plus the putter pocket on the top can fit up to 4 putters which is something not every bag can do. Great bag for disc golfers on a budget.

I have really enjoyed using the Innova Hero Pack. It is a great basic backpack and offers everything you need for an affordable price.

There are 2 water bottle holders that are big enough for your 32 oz. (Fat Gatorade sized) bottles, which is always a bonus when trying to carry lots of fluids on hot days or treacherous courses. When I first picked up the Hero Pack, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to assemble the inside part of the bag. I hated it! It kept falling over, the discs didnt' lay flat against one another, and it was a rough experience for me. When I tried the bag next, I made sure to assemble it beforehand, which only took about 5 minutes which was nice. The Hero Pack was MUCH improved upon actually doing what I should have before using the bag. It is surprisingly sturdy considering it has fairly soft inserts. There is a lot of extra storage space, and my favorite part about it is that it is versatile. You could fill both the side and toppockets with extra discs or snacks. There are also lots of outside pockets for minis, chairs, umbrellas, pencils, and anything else you can think of.

The one downside I found to the Hero Pack is the lack of rainfly. I was using the bag during an un-forecasted rain storm, and it became hopelessly wet and heavy. Luckily the bag is relatively light, so it wasn't as much of a strain as it was just an inconvenience.

Overall, I think the Hero Pack is a great welcome to the world of disc golf backpacks. At a lower price, it has almost everything a player needs in a backpack bag: Versatile storage, plenty of storage, and of course essentials like water bottle pockets. Try one out today!

The Innova Heropack is what I'm currently carrying and I really like it. I only carry ~15-18 discs, so it fits what I was looking for in a mid-size backpack. There are two deep main top pockets with plenty of room for three putters along with my keys, wallet, phone, and snacks. Front putter flap can hold another disc, but I usually don't use it. The two side drink holders are deep enough to carry your drinks without worrying about them falling out. There are also two medium sized side pockets; each with room for a folded up jacket, extra towels, minis, snacks, etc. The zippers on here are good quality. Has small feet on the bottom to keep the bottom mostly dry when it's wet out.

I have personally enjoyed owning and using this bag. For me it has been durable and comfortable. Of course I wouldn't considered this bag if a player is looking for a "high quality bag". But this bag does the job for a good reasonable price.

The way that I would describe the HeroPack V2 is much like a budget airlines. It's almost as if the CEO of Cheep-O-Air came down to the Innova factory and told them they have been doing it all wrong. Everything seems fine until you board the plane and you find out your seat is broken and they charge for water. On first impression the bag seems to be an amazing work of art. While the heropack holds 25+ discs and is very comfortable to wear, it starts to go down hill from there. First of all the putter pockets are way to huge, I could lose my putter's in them and not know where they went. As a result, the putters fall down detaching the velcro lid which then swings down creating a very frustrating instance. The side panels while stuck to the velcro consistently pop out around the edge. In the end I had to cut a dowel down to length and stick it on top of the side panels so that the bag stays rigid. Lastly, there are NO directions whatsoever on how to build this bag as mine was shipped flat. Please for the love of God do not buy this bag, I had high hopes after the last heropack. However, just like budget airlines you get shafted in the end and your bags are lost. Innova please take a hint and fire your budget airlines CEO, that or remake the bag to a much higher standard. Please for the love of God no one buy this bag!

The Innova Hero Pack is by far one of the best bags I have ever used. This bag is so comfortable. I could walk five rounds with a full bag and my back will feel fine. The storage in this bag is enormous. I can fit 19 discs in the main compartment (7 Distance Drivers, 6 Fairway Drivers, and 6 Mids) with the dividers. I can fit 4 putters in the top compartment and one extra in the front pocket. That's 24 discs and if that's not enough you can fit 2 putters in each side pocket. 28 discs in one bag is all I could ever need in a bag. There are two water bottle holders (one on each side) and what is called the valuables pocket where I store my Innova sport sack and towel. Overall this is the best bag you can buy for the price. Here is a link to a review video on the Hero Pack. Not mine. From the Disc Golf Guy.

I was not impressed by this bag.  It had no solid structure.  When wearing the pack it felt uncomfortable.  I did adjust the should straps.  Still had no luck in finding that comfort.

This Hero back did not fit as many discs as a Large shoulder bag.  The disc also sat pretty far back inside the pack.  Which made taking disc in and out hard.  The two slots on top are a nice feature.  However, when you put a couple of discs inside of them.  It tends to come forward and sit on top of the rest of the disc.  Hence, making it hard to take disc in and out.

Overall, I am not satisfied with this product.

I won this bag in a tournament.  It isn't necessarily a bag I would have bought on my own. BUT After getting the bag.  I was very impressed.  For the price it is a VERY nice bag.  The Skeleton structure comes with 2 upright pads to fit in each side of the bag, there is a pad that flips down to cover the bottom, then a (U shaped) container/pad that fits on top of that with 2 velcro inserts that can seperate the discs.  Once put all together the bag is nice and sturdy (for what it is) and fits 20 discs in the main compartment  One (or more) in the front putter pocket and at least 3-5 in other places if you really want.  I max this out at 23 or 24.

The bag is quite comfortable.  Easy to adjust shoulder straps.  Good storage, 2 Drink holders, but they don't get in the way if you're not using them.  For the price, this is a really nice bag.  Nothing really negative to say.  It's not a $200 bag for a reason, but I don't see it being 'cheap' or cutting any corners, so Overall, Impressed.  Nice bag.

This bag even though it looks small in comparison to the Lat 64 luxury bag has a large capacity. Everything seems well thought out and well placed. The one item that I like better than the luxury bag is that there are 2 drink holders. It comes in handy and does not interfere with anything on the bag. This bag was well thought out in design and has a large amount of storage and sits well on your back.Well made and sturdy as well. Nice bag.
