Recently, I had the opportunity to compare the BX3 and this OG2. Conveniently I think the OG2 was modeled after the BX3. Capacity-wise, Discology is claiming the OG2 can hold 18+ discs in the main compartment. I got 14 in the bottom compartment, with 2 putters, 4 midranges, and 8 drivers. There is definitely some wiggle room in the main compartment, but I would imagine 1 or 2 more drivers are all I would be comfortable to fit. If you wanted to shove I'm sure that somebody would be able to get more than 2 in there. In the BX3, Grip is claiming 18+ discs in the main compartment as well, and I was able to fit the same 14 discs, but it was much tighter and I feel like I wouldn't be able to fit much more even with some shoving. I was able to fit my two putting putters easily in both bags, but they are completely inside the BX3 which means I'm scraping my hands to get in there, but they're more protected if my bag goes off the side of a cliff or it happens to rain. The materials seem to be fairly comparable to Grip as far as the Canvas, the zippers and the pockets. The sidewalls are a bit of a different story as the BX3 sidewalls are thicker and just feel higher quality in general. Both bags was extremely difficult to get the sidewalls to fit properly, but once the discs were in there they seemed to be just fine. The side pockets on each bag are fairly large allowing for ample storage space. Both bags have a similar pocket on one side of the bag. Where there is a small stitched pocket on the BX3, there is a mesh pocket. It can be used for a mini, or to secure your retriever into place properly. This is a feature that you would imagine would be common place, but is not and instantly wins brownie points whenever I see this.

Comfort, I prefer the BX3 when the straps are tightened down, but the OG2 was more comfortable when the straps were looser. What surprised me most was that while I was loading discs, removing them, and taking the bags on and off the OG2 was a lot more stable. I'd drag the BX2 closer and it would tip over, or start to wobble and I'd have to catch it. I don't think I would lose anything out of the bag if it were to fall over, but losing my bag off a cliff is more of a possibility.

Two useless features on each bag. There is a flap on the front of the main compartment for each and there are two stitched putter pouches. I would never use these and have no purpose for them. The other feature is a zippered padded pouch on the lower back. The purpose of this is to shove a disc there allowing more air flow and just one more disc for you to carry on the course. The padding is already very sufficient for airflow, but this is more useful than the previous 'feature'. Oh yeah, one more thing. There is a valuables zipper pocket just below the putter pouch The OG2 pocket is bigger but drops into the main compartment a bit. The BX3's pocket doesn't do this but is significantly smaller. It barely held everything, wallet, keys, earbuds, and phone. One last note to add on.

Pros: First thing to say is I always go for durability. This bag has been plenty durable. I can fit 2 mid ranges in each top sleeve. The bottom 2 open sleeves are picky as it depends on the disc without really stretching the pockets. Side pockets are awesome, more to them than you think. Extremely comfortable bag to carry and there have been a few times i really pushed the amount of weight i would have.

Cons: Now i really like this bag, but some minor tweaks need to be made yet like the side walls inside the bag, they are either too big or dont match up perfectly with the velcro. It was super annoying to constantly deal with because its a tight fit to the top side of the bag that if you dont fit it right it'll pop out and start sticking out into one of your top pockets. I just took the walls out as i dont think they really add a benefit other than taking up space. The tailbone pad on the outside is really awesome but beware of the weight you put into this bag. the flat bottom will roll underneath the pad on the backoutside and you just only feel discs on your buttox. but again that could be from pushing the weight limit on it. Lastly this bag doesnt like to stand up the best. reccomend not filling discs on your top pockets to help that.
