    The Prodigy MX-1 is Prodigy's most overstable midrange yet. It is designed to have a predictable finish no matter the angle of release. Whether you throw it sidearm or backhand, the MX-1 can handle power and the wind with no problem at all. In the hand, it feels similar to a beaded disc but it doesn't actually have a bead. Its diameter is slightly smaller than traditional midrange discs.

    500 Details

    500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.

    Bought this when I was brand new because I thought I needed an overstable midrange. Couldn't throw it at all and wasn't too upset when I threw it in a river. It came back to me 4 months later and, after improving my technique during that time, it became my favorite OS mid. Loves to fade, loves to fight out of anny, loves to end up exactly where I want it to go without needing any hyzer angle.

    Super great utility midrange! Great tight flex line or hyzer ability! This disc has saved me on many tricky shots on both forehand and backhand! If you aren't a big fan of the feel of a justice or deflector or mutant, but still want the overstable finish, the MX-1 is a fantastic option in that slot! Highly recommend it for any overstable midrange needs!
