There's nothing like this, what's wrong with breaking the mold?

This disc feels weird. I understand the negative comments I've heard about it over the years. I don't think any of them have thrown it.

The M5 is a lower profile understable midrange. It's floating the line in height between a Discraft Comet (taller than most buildings) and an Innova Stingray (flatter than NY pizza). What most people hate about the rim is a small divot around the lip. Whatever the reason for it, it holds up to 70% power shots really well. I haven't had any torque issues with the M5 which I can't say for most understable mids (my favorite slot in the bag) I've thrown. It's fully replaced the comet for me, which I didn't think was possible. This thing really glides forever and flips up beautifully. Great for little touch shots as well; I'll reach for this 2/3 of the time if I am patent pending out of the woods.

A horrible fabulous recommendation I'd give to anyone willing to try it: In heavy wind, try putting with the M5 upside-down. I am not joking about this in the slightest, the divot is a great spot to hold your thumb for this niche putt. Give it a shot!

I was a little startled by the feel of the M5, as it has a weird feeling, almost inverted bead. I was not a big fan of the feel. The flight was as advertised, it is a flippy midrange that seems to have been designed for newer players. It wants to turn, and turn, and turn some more. Not a disc that I would want to bag.

I think the prodigy flight charts are accurate for this disc for the rec/int level. With a fan grip and a nice smooth throw this thing is dead straight out of the box. The rim does have a weird inverted bead, but for me I don't notice it. I was hoping this would get a turn to the right for me, but will need some beating in for my skill level.

Super bizarre with almost an inverse bead, the M5 is a disc Ive rarely seen in the wild. It is super flippy and just feels strange in the hand.

Prodigy has some really awesome plastic and easy release rims on a lot of their molds, but this wiffed with me.

    All set.

I gave the M5 a scathing review initially and I felt I wasn't quite fair to it so after losing my last meteor the day before a tournament I was forced to pop this in the bag and give it a go again. The M5's design is interesting it is compact feeling in the hand is but is sullied by the weird rim lip that indents kind of like an opposite bead, I adjusted to it relatively quickly though.. My M5 is 174g and in 400g plastic.

The M5 is a disc that requires touch to throw. It is very understable so much so that if you aren't deliberately smooth you might get it turned over more than you want it to. Hyzer flips require no effort to pull off which is amazing as you can focus solely on hitting the line with the right angle and this disc will do the work for you, although flip up to hyzers are hard to pull off. Straight on shots with this disc result in a steady drift with minimal fade. This disc does anhyzers fantastically allowing it to pan out and ride fantastically if given the height and will roll pretty well for a short distance. Forehand this disc is a scramblers dream you need almost no effort to get it turning over and you don't have to worry about chopping the angle to make it work. I must emphasize that this disc will require a good bit of practice with it to really get the right feel for how it flies.

This disc is nightmarish in a headwind, but handles tailwinds very well as you can just throw with decent power and keep it turning, the natural glide will keep you aloft.

Beginners would do fantastic with this disc as it will naturally want to go straight or turn a little for them.

Overall the M5 isn't half bad, I wish it wasn't quite as crazy understable as it is but once you get dialed in with it the disc honestly does a good job. If you like prodigy's plastic it is a solid contender for an understable midrange.

In my opinion this is a more controllable upgraded innova wolf. I have found myself reaching for the M5 time and time again. It has a great turning flight path. Defenantly shaved a few strokes off of my game. Oh and did i mention for a super understable midrange it seema to go forever!

This disc is odd, it is nothing like the other Prodigy disc I have thrown.  It has a double rim on the inside which is soemthing I have never seen before.  This makes it bulkier than their other discs. It is a great anhyzer disc for 200-250 shots.  It flies just like my Latt 64 fuse, but that feels less bulky.  It may just take some time to get used to the bulk of this.  However, if you are looking for something that will turn right a few feet from you hand (RHBH) everytime, then you have found your disc.
