The FX-3 is a stable and highly controllable disc, capable of holding a large variety of different lines. This mold has a little bit of a wider rim than other fairway drivers. This provides a noticeably longer glide in the flight. The FX-3 is capable of holding the anhyzer line for long enough before it'll finish off with a fade. It also can hold a hyzer line with ease. With enough power, this disc will hyzer flip nicely and finish with a reliable fade at the end.

Extremely straight fairway driver that is incredibly workable.  This is one of my favorite discs because I can work it to any angle I want and it will react appropirately.  Thrown flat it turns and glides for a while (definitely more than 4 glide) before a gentle pushing fade.  On hyzer it flips up to flat, rides straight and then fades.  On anhyzer it holds the whole flight before correcting and landing flat.  Absolute workhorse of a disc, the only thing I dont love it for is tight tunnel type shots because it does have some left to right movement in flight, but given the space to fly will end up pretty much right where you are aiming every time.  As a plus the prodigy 400 plastic feels perfect for a driver for me.  One of my favorite discs

The FX-3 in 400 plastic is a very good fairway driver.  The 400 plastic feels great and the disc  in general feels good in the hand.  Mine had a decent amount of dome, I found it to be a mostly straight, long and glidey 9 speed with a mellow fade at the end of its flight.  When thrown with some power it flips up to flat and turns just a bit before slowly fading.  The disc has good distance potential but also can be powered down and thrown with more control when I need to hit gaps.  This is a good 9 speed driver that matches up well against any other 9 speed out there on the market.

I love my FX-3's! I've been bagging one since they released, and it's filled in my existing fairway driver lineup nicely. It pushes like a 9 speed should, and has a gentile overstability that is finds a slot in everyone's bag!

Beginners will find it as an extremely useful overstable driver with a comfortable hand feel, and more experienced players will find it slots well between their overstable and straight fairways nicely! Grab one today!!

Laser Beam. I used to bag some old innova made FD's for dead straight shots but got tired of losing them and needing to mortgage the house in the hopes of snagging one off ebay so I figured Id try these out, they go straight and a good deal farther than the old FD's. Disc is money.

I just wish Prodigy would move their main manufacturing back to the U.S. but the 400 plastic is REALLY nice.

I've been loving my FX-3s a lot lately. It's taken over my Teebird (stable, workable, do it all fairway driver) slot. It feels great for backhand, and forehands well too. I've been using it for everything 250-300 feet, and its an excellent compliment to my other favorite fairway, the slightly more understable F5.

The flight of the FX-3 is nothing special.  It fits right in with any other neutral 9 speed on the market.  I have two particular FX-3, and I find the 400 plastic to fly very true to its -1/2 flight numbers, while the 500 plastic I have is closer to -2/2.  This puts it solidly in the realm of other popular workhorse 9 speeds such as the Valkyrie, Undertaker,  and CD2/Dynasty,  I'd say the glide isn't lacking compared to any of those discs-- both of my FX-3s have a nice, gradual dome, and I was able to pump them out as far as any of my other 9 speeds.

What sets the FX-3 apart from the rest of the popular neutral 9 speeds on the market is its hand-feel.  I can only think of one other straight flying 9 speed that has a very blunt nose like the FX-3, and that is the Dynamic Discs Convict (which is also truly underrated btw).  Simply put, I feel the combination of Prodigy's gummy plastics with the blunt nose of the FX-3 gives it the absolute best hand feel as it just fills the hand so smoothly and satisfyingly. Those who are used to throwing Sexton Firebirds will feel right at home.  The FX-3's nose is equally as blunt as a Firebird, and I find the FX-3 the perfect complement to my Sextons and my glow FD3 in my bag, as I get the same feel in the hand, but differing flights, which allowed the FX-3 to knock the Dynasty out of my bag, and when I eventually really beat one in, will also probably knock my Roadrunner out of my bag.

Excellent flier, and this newer blend of 400 plastic feels amazing. More glide and stability than the numbers give it credit for. Thrown flat this has a smooth gentle S-Turn with a reliable forward fade. Holds up okay in a small headwind - a stiffer headwind will flip it. Holds a hyzer line and will do a sweet big S-Flight when put on an Anny.

Bigger arms will see more turn and likely will enjoy this for hyzer flips and controllable smooth S-Lines.

For the intermediate arm like myself this a great option for a less OS Thunderbird type disc. Beginners may like this as their first overstable driver that they can work up to.

I think the Fx-3 is one of the best fairway drivers I have ever thrown. The 400 plastic is one of the best plastics I have felt and the mold is just perfect in the hand. The Fx-3 is a great do it all workhorse type fairway driver. With it being faster than the F series, you can compliment most of the F series by throwing the Fx-3. I can throw it on backhand and forehand and get some great flights out of it. If thrown flat, I can get a small amount of flip up before a nice gradual finish that beings it back to the middle. I can trust it to not turn and burn if I do not give it a max power shot. On hyzer you can get a slight straight hold before it follows the exact hyzer line the entire flight, and on anhyzer you will get a great sweeping shot that slowly fights back to flat. Mine has some slight dome but is still shallow enough to have that comfortable forehand grip. On my forehand I can put it on any angle and as long as I don't roll my wrist or have any off axis torque, it holds up great. I think people who tend to have to throw super overstable stuff on forehand won't like this disc because it does require a smooth release and will probably flip over and burn if it's over torqued. Overall I think the Fx-3 is a must have for a slightly further flying fairway driver in the prodigy lineup.

Great feeling beat-in thunderbird-type disc. It'll turn but it is still very controllable. Won't turn over on you unexpectedly. It holds the angle—best of its class that I've tried.
