The D6 is a high-speed, understable driver. It is designed for players of all levels for maximum distance. The D6 will flip up when thrown hard, turn towards the understable side, then go into an extremely long glide, with a gentle fade at the end. The D6 is also a great disc for long, controlled rollers.

This is indeed a very understable distance driver.  Like all understable fast discs the flight heavily depends on your power and release angle.  If you have a sub-300 arm this disc probably won't flip up for you.  If you have a 300-350 arm it will flip up to flat, etc.  I have a 400 arm and this disc released on steep hyzer will flip all the way up into a full flex.  If I release it flat then it gets over and stays over, potentially into a roller.  Overall I like it for the purpose of throwing a roller, but I don't throw many rollers.  For me the best use of this disc is for a tight 350-400 foot hole through the woods.  I like to throw this on a mild hyzer at about 75% power for a hyzerflip.

I deduct 1 star because the shape of the disc is a bit weird.  On the top of the disc it tapers off quickly near the rim like a frisbee, which could feel weird if you're not used to it.

Can BE used as a beginner's main driver!

I am near the 400ft power threshold and the D6 for me is my roller disc or sky turnover shot. I also use this when my footwork is stymied or if i need a standstill in the woods.

I'll always have one in the bag for my understable utility disc.

This is review for both 400g and 200 d6, I have 400g d6 but I use 200 more often as it’s very comfortable plastic to grip on. Sure the spec show that it’s very understable disc, but for me it fly very straight  with little s in flight and it actually held up very well even for baseline plastic. 400g is little tad more stable compare to 200 and take longer to beat it in.

Totally recommend for players who want to move up to driver disc for first time.

The D6 is extremely understable for being such a fast disc. For me, I love it for rollers. It is very easy to control and manipulate while still having super far distance potential thanks to it's speed.

For those starting out this is a great understable disc that doesn't take the big arm to get full use of it. For those with more power this works for a great roller shot, high turning throws that need to keep turning, or for max distance tailwind shots. My longest throw was with one of these with about a 15mph tailwind and it helped the turn for 85% of the flight until it panned out and finished flat. This is a definite staple in the bag.

Ok, let me preface this. I've gotten Westside Giants, Innova Destroyers, and several other 13-14 drivers to turn over for me on hard throws, so I'm not exactly a beginner or a slow arm.

I honestly don't know what happened with my disc. I wanted it to be a distance understable for me, trying out the Prodigy line. The plastic was incredibly grippy and so comfortable. This thing was beautiful. I fell in love with it at first sight and wanted it have a great spot in my bag.

I gave it about 6 months of work before it was given away. I honestly do not know how or why, but this thing was more overstable than my Westside World or L64 Cutlass. I tried everything that I could with it, and I never even got it to sit up straight. Apparently I got a dud.

That being said, I'm more than willing to give Prodigy plastic another try, but by now my understable distance driver spot has been taken by another disc, so it'll have to be a different mold.

This is just one review, and I'm really willing to mark this up as a fluke that any company is capable of, so please don't take this as a warning to not buy Prodigy, but don't feel that you are alone if you also get a dud like I did.

    173g 400g x out

I'm not sure if I should write a review at all- either this is a review of unreliability of X-out discs, or the disc isn't actually broken in yet...   I'll keep throwing and update if it changes.

So this is the 3rd X-out D series from Prodigy I've bought this year. It's also the 3rd one that doesn't fly at all like advertised. Perhaps it's the X-out, but this D6 doesn't turn at all. I have almost 100% X-outs from Prodigy that do fly normally, except the D series. I'll be avoiding their D discs from now on.

Yes, it's pretty new, but by the numbers this thing should at least turn a little brand new, right? It kind of holds a hard anny release.  I have a D4 that turns, and a D2 x-out that turns more than this D6. What this disc does do is fly straight, glide well, and fade with huge skip potential. But that is not what it's made to do, right?  I bought it to throw BH rollers. It's not doing that yet, that's a fact. Oh Well. I'll give this disc through the winter to come around.

update- disc is still flying OS.  it's fired.I don't really need this disc for OS distance driver.
