The D2 Pro is a very overstable, high-speed distance driver. The slimmer profile gives it a similar feel in the hand to the D2 Max, but the D2 Pro significantly cranks up the overstability. Many players will be able to count on a hard fade, and those with higher arm speeds and more power can get a similar flight to the D2, but with slightly less glide and a stronger fade.

    500 Details

500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.

The feel on the plastic is nice, durable and slick feeling to it. I feel like the rim is a little deeper than the D2 max but I am still able to hold it comfortably with a power grip.

With a slight headwind, I was able to hyzer flip up to staight and got a nice straight flight with a strong fade at the end. Getting me to about ~400'-410'. I would recommend this disc for intermediate and up players looking for a headwind disc that you can trust to not turn over on you. The numbers are spot on.

Super overstable but a very consistent driver in all wind. Flatter than most D2s and a tad sharp but nothing like a MVP photon. Only recommend for faster arm speeds or if in need of a wind fighter. It will break in to glide further but takes a bit of work.

Throwing 500 plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

This is overstable. Basically, this disc is just fast and overstable. For me, I do not have the arm power for this disc. So it flew straight with no turn, and a beefy fade. I've put it on anhyzer line, and it quickly came out of it.

It isn't my favorite disc for me, as it is too overstable for me. It does work well in headwinds for me, so for me it works well as a utility disc. Something to use in the one-off situations that I need the stability.
