I'm playing again after taking a long break. Got this in a mystery box. It's quickly becoming my go to driver when I need to throw straight down a tight line. I'm getting good distance with it also. Am likely going to buy another in their new plastic once it makes it over to this mold.

TLDR: Incorrectly advertised, not understable until well worn in, not beginner friendly off the shelf

    Basegrip 175g

    Distance: 275'

Feel: Basegrip plastic is probably the best base plastic that I have used. Firm with slight give, but tacky and grippy and surprisingly durable. I prefer my discs to be flat and this has a neutral dome, not flat but not too domey. While not too deep, the rim is very wide and sharp. Usable but not very comfortable imo.

    Flight:

Off the shelf: 13, 6, 0, 2 , No turn on mine even with forehand. However, it does hold straight for awhile and has a decent amount of glide before dumping. Might fly more like the numbers with a 400-450' arm but not for anyone in the 300-350' range

Worn In: Flies closer to the numbers after a month or so usage. 13, 6, -1, 1 Very straight when worn in with very little fade.

Beginners: 5/10 until worn in then 7/10

    Intermediate: 7/10

Advanced: 8/10 - could see being a true understable/straight driver off the shelf with 450' of power.

I just got this Disc and I love the plastic. People might think Im weird But I've been a fan of the innova DX line plastic specifically for its grip. The Aceline Base grip has that soft rubbery feel that I want in a disc not at all slippery like some of the west side and Lat 64 disc I have thrown. As far as distance Im a slow arm maybe 300 on a good day. On my long bomb hole at my home course I know I threw this around 315-325. It also held a good center line. Truthfully I wasn't really tuned into the naming but I like the fact that the US means understable and that exactly why I selected it. I really look at flight ratings when I choose my disc and as a RHBH thrower I want a lot of turn in my disc to hit those right set holes. This disc feels great in my hand although its slightly smaller than I expected. I think they could get a little more glide out of this if they took it out a bit. I bought it in 140g as I feel like my distance driver should be my lower weight disc unless Im throwing into a head wind. Overall I'm really looking forward to slinging this some more. There were no real errant throws with it today it went where I wanted it. would rate it like 8 out of 10.
