I started with a straight-shooting disc with a similar predicted flight path as advertised. In less than one week, it got beat up into something that will turn over for anything further than ~100 ft or so.

You want an actual straight-shooter disc, pass this one way up and get something more dependable like a Mako.

That said, the glide on the Habit is insane (both new and beat in) and will really maximize your distance on touch shots.

As much as I can't prevent my Habit from turning over anymore, it's now my instant go to for anything I need to turn and hold indefinitely, so it's staying in my bag for the long-haul. Can't rate it any higher than this because I ended up with a completely different disc than I thought I ordered, even if it is something that did work out.

Mine is 178 Top Line it's unique among the 14 other putters I have tried.  It is large in hand and in bag although not much bigger than my Buzzz.  It feels big when you get within 15 or 20 feet, but that's OK just switch to 1 of the others when real close.  The size is easily overlooked by the flight of this thing I hope Plastic Addicts produce more models they can consider me a customer.  This putter will save your round, had horrible drive poor second shot then put this in basket for 50 foot par and amazed my self and dude digging lost disks out of lake!  The Habit is comfortable it feels thinner than most discs not height wise the plastic itself seems thinner.  Although heavier than my Buzz it feels and flies like a light weight Buzzz.  Definitely recommend this to new players it will save you an expensive and frustrating search for a unique/different putter.

This is the understable approach disc that I was looking for. In an ideal world, we would all play as much as James Conrad and end up with an Aviar-x stack that covers every putter shot. I also like the Proxy, but its turn comes a bit early in the flight and still fades at the end, making it less useful in the woods. In order to get the Habit to fade at all, you have to throw it very high, or very nose-up and slow. This feature makes it easy to control the angle of the disc when it hits the ground on those tricky greens; it will almost always land flat.

Both of the plastics (main line and top line) have some flex to them. Together with the fact that the disc tends to land flat, you can count on this disc sitting very close to where it lands for reliable approaches. My favorite use for this disc is on slow anhyzer approaches. Where other discs might cut roll after hitting the ground at an anhyzer angle, this discs once more tends to sit, as a function of both the aforementioned flex of the plastic and the disc's ability to hold an anhyzer even thrown at slow speeds.

One final point on that slow turn: you'll probably only see it if you throw this disc hard. Thrown < 200' flat, or even with a little hyzer, this disc will glide forever and maintain its release angle. Thrown harder, it will hyzerflip and keep turning, but very slowly. I love throwing this on 250' holes with a touch of hyzer and watching it turn almost imperceptibly the entire way. This is a large, deep (but beadless) disc that allows for a lot of control and will reward you with a variety of glidey lines as you dial in your release angles.

I originally bought this because I was more familiar with ultimate/catch/throw discs and wanted something a bit more chain friendly then the zephyr. It was my main putter for a bit until I went back the envy. I still bag a couple simply because they are fantastic approach disks and I'm a bit addicted to understability.

This has only a slightly bigger diameter than an aviar. It flies more stable than I expected, not overstable, but didn't turn as much as I thought it would. It has midrange distance on easy, smooth throws because of its excellent glide. Easy approach shot because it's easy to shape. Held a hyzer line with a smooth finish.

I've heard from some insiders, that this was the never-put-into-production Ace Race from 2011, the Zeppelin. Well, I love the Zeppelin. It's a touchy type lid disc (it's actually beveled but it throws like a lid), that with the amount of power I put into it (very moderate) I hyzer just a pinch. Once this thing pops flat, it just floats, dead straight in slow motion. I was bagging Roaches, and even messed with the Nova, but this wide diameter beauty claimed the spot. 250ft out if I've got a safe run, maybe a backstop, I'm trying to throw this in.

I think a beginner will have success with this disc, but I feel it's more of a niche spot for people that like floaty upshots with a Nova or other deep floaty lid or putter. If you love watching the flight of a disc, this will give you plenty to appreciate.

This is a good disc.  I don't know if I would ever put with it but.  It has a very controllable flight for upshots.  Feels great in the hand and glides for a good ways.
