The Splinter is a flat-top putter meant for all skill-levels. As an overstable approach disc, this does not turn over when thrown with power. The Splinter works well as a driver, for approach shots, or as a putter. It's quite the capable and versatile mold.

The bottom of the rim is rounded and beadless. The mold offers a comfortable grip to help with consistent releases and accurate throws.

The Splinter is a really unique ultra overstable approach disc. This disc has almost no glide and is not likely to overshoot the basket. The Obsidian Splinter has a flat top and bulky feel. K7 plastic is a base blend that is really grippy. For me, the splinter in K9 is too grippy and I found it stuck to my hand too long on both putts and drives, but due to the ultra overstable nature of the disc, I still never reallky pushed it too far out, just usually missed most of my putt attempts with it on the right.

If you're looking for a unique overstable approach disc from a disc golf brand that most people don't know about, you might like the Splinter. This disc is one of a kind.
