The Rift exhibits a high glide and understable flight. These attributes make this disc a great choice for long anhyzers, roller shots, and tailwind shots. This disc is suitable for lower arm speed throwers as well as for more advanced players. The Rift is a great understable, high glide distance driver to achieve great distances whether in the air of on the ground as a roller.

This disc is a ton of fun but it is SUPER understable.  Should be -4 or -5 I think.  Throwing it almost vertical it will flip up and glide a long ways.

The Rift provides a nice understable disc golf flight path. This disc is good for players with less arm speed, but isn't so understable that it's too flippy. I was able to get some excellent distance for me (around 350 feet) on Hyzer flip drives with the Rift.

The thing that stands out about the Rift, and Obsidian Discs is the plastic blend. I'm a big fan of this plastic, it's like a slightly more grippy star plastic. I'd compare this plastic blend to Thought Space Athletics Ethereal blend. It's not crazy grippy like Kastaplast, but just right.

I highly recommend the Rift for players who average around 300 feet of total distance and are looking for an easy to throw distance driver for max D on open holes.
