The Squid is a driver and has a good stability for distance at some speeds. If thrown really hard, it gets quite understable, but if thrown without enough speed and snap is pretty overstable. When you get it just right you can get a really nice max distance S-Curve flight.

Where I struggled with the Neptune Squid was getting that right amount of hyzer angle to get that max distance throw that lands where I want it to land. It doesn't have a crazy dome to it, but it is definitely domeyer than most disc golf discs. I prefer a flatter disc as for me they are easier to control the release angle.

The Squid was unusably inconsistent for me with forehand throws, and this is a disc I would never use for forehand. With the dome and fickle understability it was really difficult to get a consistent throw that didn't just turn over into a throwler.

The Triton plastic looks good, but it is a different plastic than the Pearl plastic that all the other Neptune discs are in. The Squid is made in a different factory than the other 3 Neptune discs and in my opinion, the plastic isn't as good. It's not a bad plastic, but is a little slicker than I like. 

Get the Squid for a low enough price and it's not a bad disc, but I've thrown way too many drivers that are just more consistent and can get more distance for me to bag the Squid.
