Proton plastic: If I could only have one disc, this would be it. Forget the Buzzz and get an Atom. The flight numbers are accurate. Dead straight with a reliable fade at the end.

I throw this off the tee for pretty much anything under 200 feet. To be fair, I can only throw about 250 feet anyway (maybe 300 on a good day), but the Atom will fly far and straight if you throw it flat, but can also "hold any line" that I put on it.

The flat top without a beaded rim is comfortable for my tiny hands (they're larger than a cartoon T-Rex, but comparatively small for a human man over six feet tall). I used an Atom as my putting putter for a long time and only recently replaced it with something a little softer. That said, if I was held at gunpoint and told I had to give them one of my two putters, I would keep the Atom.

Buy one now and go register for a vanity license plate that says "ATOMSMSHR," because that's what all your friends will be calling you after you obliterate their scores with your new Atom.

Bought the atom from a pro shop a last year in the search for a driving putter that can handle maximum power. When it's thrown slower for a touchy up shot it is just as stable as any 1 fade putter and very accurate and controllable. When throwing it hard off the tee I can get it out to 360 feet with only a small amount of high speed turn, but it will never flip over on me, where as most putters I've tried throwing would turn over as soon as they started breaking in

Neutron Plastic. I got angry at my putting with a KC aviar and tried putting with this. It honestly was such a refreshing feel. It is flat and slim and feels so nice in the hand. It doesn't have a bead but the overmold gives it almost a very slight bead. I get clean releases every time and I putt better in the wind.

I don't even think the putting is the best part of this disc. It has so much torque resistance off the tee and for approaches. I can throw pretty hard and this thing almost never turns over. It was exactly what I wanted for backhand putter shots. It kinda flies like a baby teebird. Straight for a while and fades consistently.

I wouldn't recommend this disc to a forehand player. The inner part of the rim is slanted in an awkward way for forehand shots (similar to a mako3 on the inner rim). It wobbles a lot for me.

As an ultimate player the disc feels super natural to throw and I love its consistency.

I love the Atom putter. The Neutron Atom is a disc that is used used more than any other in my bag. Yes this makes for a great putter, but I find that the Neutron Atom is excellent for short, accurate drives and precision up shots. This disc will hold what ever flight path you put it on and is really reliable. I recommend to all level of players.

I can truly say I only love two discs from MVP but only one is in my bag at all times. One is the Wave which is not in my bag and the other is the Atom which is my go to driving putter. I can do anything with this putter, straight, hyzer, anyhzer, forehand and backhand. I'm a big if it feels right in your hand it will feel right when it leaves your hand and this disc feels great.

MVP makes very forgiving discs. This one is no different. In fact, I prefer to throw this on a baby nose-up angle to get some distance and to carve some remarkably consistent lines. This disc holds all angles and lands soft. Not great to put with in the premium plastics. Great thrower though. Love it

I'll just start by saying the Atom is one of the best driving putters on the market.  There are a lot of great discs out there from many companies but I feel like the Atom, Proxy, Particle, and Envy are discs that no other manufacturer has.  The Latitude 64 flies very similar to the Proxy (straight to nearly no fade) but I've had two Opto and one Goldline Pure but each of them had a little bit of a dome and did not quite have the low profile feel that the Atom, Proxy, Particle, and Envy had to me.

The Atom flies fast for a putter and expect a very straight to a soft fade.  If you've thrown the Axiom Proxy the Atom flies very similar but with a touch more fade at the end of the flight.  For me, either the Atom or the Particle are the furthest flying putters I've thrown.  I just wish MVP would release the Atom in Soft Neutron.
