Flat first run heavy is money!

This disc bombs. Hyzer flip it and it will turn and try to come back but will stay straight. Great for big turnovers and woods.

This disc is a winner, in terms of straight to understable mid ranges. Excellent feel in the hand, beautiful and durable in the Apex plastic, and flies like a laser, while being easy to turn over or throw finesse hyzers with. One of the best understable mids out there imo

This disc has the perfect sized rim. Your finger will fit like a glove around the rim. It is understable, but very practical and usable. I was able to hyzer flip this disc to go straight as an arrow 360 feet. So even if you have power, it is still usable if you release it on a steep hyzer angle. My natural power stroke is releasing on a hyzer angle so this disc gets a lot of throws from me. It works great for hitting tight lines in the woods. I also use a fan grip on it for short distance straight shots under 250 feet. With low power, I can throw it on a straight line releasing flat for these distances. This is my favorite understable mid range on the market. It has replaced my MVP Uplink in the bag.

I've had a hard time finding mid-ranges that I like, but this is definitely one of them. I like to use it for touchy RHFH shots. I'm not super confident with my lower speed back hand throws, so it's great to be able to throw this disc at a lower power and have it hold whatever line I put it on. I fell in love with it on a very downhill tee shot that curved to the left. I was able to flick it forehand with a little anhyzer, and it carried that line all the way down the hill to the basket. I've tried backhand with a variety of other discs for that same shot, but nothing has been more effective than this disc. For people who know the Svea, it's like that, but a little higher speed, less floaty glide, and a narrower profile. It also handles torque better than the Svea which will frequently turn/burn with too much forehand power. I can't put full FH power on the lobster, but it can take a lot more than the Svea. Highly recommend.

The lobster was quite a flippy midrange. It was too flippy for me (someone who throws backhand max distance in the 370' range) to not be very usable. I definitely prefer the Innova Mako3 or discraft Buzzz SS to this disc for turnover midrange slot. Plastic feels great though. Pretty low profile midrange. If you're a lower power player, it could be a really great addition to the bag.

Just what I was looking for in an understable mid. With good power and air I can get it 300 and trust that it wont come out of an anny angle. Great glide but a pretty low profile. Its not super far off the feal of the Mustang. I was looking for a flippy mid that wasn't supper thick and domed and this is perfect.

    WHAT A FUN DISC!!!

Easyyyyy low power dead straight woods disc. At a stronger throwing power, put it on some good hyzer and it's just a line drive missile machine. So fun for turnovers, great for shorter rollers, this disc rules. Great for ALLLL players. I have extras for friends new to disc golf to use.

Booted my Kasta SVEA and Westside Tursas out of the bag.

Not as understable as I was hoping for. More like a Fuse than a Tursas.

Another great collaboration between MVP and Mint Discs.  The fit, finish, and feel of the Apex (Neutron) Lobster is super smooth.  MVP's extra machining to minimize flashing allows for a comfortable grip fresh out of the box.  The Lobster continues MVP's pedigree of modern, rounded, and aerodynamic midranges.  Instead of the more usual squared off and blunted midrange nose, the Lobster takes a page out of the Hex and Reactor's book, featuring an all rounded profile that fits your hand perfectly.  The feel of the Lobster in hand is very similar to a Hex.

Out of the box, the Lobster flies beautifully.  For reference, I'm throwing it around 280 to 320 feet, depending on how much power and air I give it.  The Lobster is a shot-shaping monster.  I live at 700' elevation, so I see more turn in my discs than people at higher elevations will see.  When thrown at a controlled 2/3 power, and flat, the Lobster will demonstrate an easy, and long-lasting drift, followed by a soft fade as it slows down; it will finish about 30 feet right of where you aimed on a rhbh.  When thrown with about a 30 degree hyzer, it flips up to flat over the first third of its flight, then rides laser straight to even a hair of drift, and will finish either where you aim it, or maybe 5 feet right of where you aim it.  Being a 5 speed and having some low speed fade though, the Lobster can still be made to have long, forward pushing hyzers when really finessed.  Reminds me of a Discraft Meteor, or a better Discmania Origin.  I have read from others that it reminds them of a really broken-in Mustang as well.

This disc bombs, feels perfect in the hand, and its utility is unmatched.  Everybody needs a flippy mid slot in their bag, and the Lobster would be one of the first I'd recommend from a very short list of recommendations.

This disc is AMAZING. This discs booted two other disc out of my bag and have been looking for something like this for what seems like forever. (Approx 300' to 320' [on a rare occasion] max distance for reference. First it replaced Svea in k1 plastic - great disc but with my current arm speed/skill, thrown flat or with a slight hyzer it didn't turn as much as I wanted it to when needed or thrown on an anhyzer line would flip over and roll as I am not controlled enough yet to finesse an anhyzer angle with consistent consistency :P . Second it replaced Centurion D blend glow plastic - another fantastic discs but mine was getting beat to the point of being a roller/roll away most times), this disc smoothly transitioned in .

This discs flies so smoothly from the release to turn; on a hyzer/slight hyzer it turns beautifully and has a nice little bite back to a gentle straight finish with the fade. On anhyzer it turns over and will continue on without coming back, but for me it feels so much easier to control.

Like many I bought (and still buy) lots of plastic, starting out (approx. 18 months ago) and it's a blast seeing a new disc fly and learning them. The Lobster made me want to run home and write a review about it, tell all my friends about it. It really is a fun and amazing discs. MINTS plastic are a real contender and I feel  it can go head to head with the best premium plastic types.

This disc is butter so slather it on your Lobster and go to town!!!

Throwing Apex plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

I was pleasantly pleased with this disc. At first I was a little skeptical that it would be too understable. However, I found that it has a good stability to it, not too understable that it just always turns even if I want it to go straight. The grip is comfortable, and the Apex plastic is pretty solid. Nice feeling, durable, and grippy.

This disc does want to turn, it likes to go right for me. I've had some pretty great success with some solid straight flying hyzer-flips. And they were pretty easy to throw. The "Finesse Midrange" suits this disc perfectly. I've also been able to get some good turnover shots with this disc as well.

All in all, I have fun throwing this mold. Its easy to get it to do what I want from straight to anhyzer lines. I'd recommend this.
