The Mint Discs Lasso is a beadless putter with a very flat top. It truly excels as a backhand or forehand approach / driving putter. It will fight the wind and provide all of the stability you need out of a driving putter.

I was given a Glow Lasso that came out of a Foundation subscription box and I have been pleased with how it throws. To me it flies like an Envy with just a touch more overstability. Great driving putter.

This is a straight to slight fade throwing putter. super fun disc for a solo disc round at a chip and put course. handles the wind fine it is basically  a beat in zone or a straighter zone.

If you like the Envy but you're always hunting for the most overstable runs - just get a Lasso. It's slightly more overstable, doesn't have the micro-bead, and handles the wind better.

The low scores wanted a Mint Discs zone and this isn't it - it's an overstable envy, which is great. It's also not very deep for a putter imo - similar to an Envy or Aviar3, so I don't get that complaint either

Best stable putter in the game for me. Close to the Envy in flight but a little more stable. I wanted to love the Envy; feels good in the hand, great flight but I just couldnt control the distance. If you are looking for that stable Luna but can't find one unless you are spending $100 for one of the 5 time Cyrstal Lunas. The Lasso is the disc you have been searching for. I'm a  RHBH thrower playing for 10yrs. I cant speak to the forehand due to a long time elbow injury but for the backhand it's money. MVP plastic so you know it's good plastic and couldn't be happier with finding this disc.

Slightly overstable 'throwing' putter.   Love this one and it did what I expected it to do and fit my hand like a Zone but with a slightly thinner profile and slightly more flat to domey top as opposed to a puddle.   The honest answer is, it doesnt do much more than anything else you can compare it to EXCEPT one big thing.  Click here to find out what...  kidding kidding... more below

This thing handles torque Like. A. BEAST.    I have a noodle arm and have been happy testing this and playing with it.  Its a wind fighter, stays flat and holds lines.  All good.  However.  My buddies who have BIG arms played with it the other day and were trying to get it to tap out and couldnt.  they were putting literally everything into it and it still just had a little torque wobble and flattened out.

Very enjoyable disc, does as expected.  deep rim may not be for everyone but its very manageable and the plastic as always feel amazing.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it. 3-Stars are a happy medium.

When looking for a throwing putter or a 'driving putter' I am looking for a couple of things. Does it feel good, both backhand and sidearm? Can I throw it hard? What's the stability? How much is it going to fade? Personally, this meets all of these requirements except one. For me, this is too deep for me to completely trust this on sidearm approaches or drives.  The flight and hand-feel remind me a lot of an Envy or a Harp. Backhand this was everything I enjoy in a throwing putter. I could throw this as hard as I wanted and knew that it was never going to turn over on me with a pushing fade. I could torque down and trust the gradual and consistent fade. A good disc from the Mint Discs lineup, but the overall hand-feel and trust simply weren't there for me.

I love a slightly overstable approach disc and thought the Mint Discs Lasso would be another great one. Mint Discs plastic is beautiful and feels great, but the rim depth of the Lasso is just too deep for me. I really struggled to get clean releases on forehand throws with the Lasso and it would end up late releasing and almost turning over and because the Lasso isn't a "very overstable" "Driving Putter" it would drift left and get way more distance than I intended on my approach shots.

If you like deep putter rims and want a deep putter rim with a flat top and a stable flight you'll probably like the Lasso, but it was just not the disc for me.

Great disc, but I prefer the nocturnal. Eternal is pretty straight but reliable fade at the end. Not as stable as a zone for me, but close. For slower arms/beginners, should be a great approach disc and forehand trainer.
