I bought the Mint Jackalope on a whim because the shop had a sale on all red and green discs in their inventory for Christmas.

I could not have been happier with my purchase. Out of the box it has such a smooth flight. If you throw it flat it'll naturally have that gentle turn in flight and then fade out ever so slightly to give it an almost straight line flight. I have grown to rely on this disc on tighter fairways or uphill shots knowing I can trust it on a backhand.

I would recommend this for anyone who wants a very controllable fairway driver on the backhand or if you want an easy to turn over forehand disc.

Control Driver is the best way to describe this disc. The jackalope has been my go to on every tee shot for about a year now. I have had two in apex and one in eternal and much prefer the apex plastic especially as it breaks in. My RHBH with this disc has a gental turn early on and slowly fades back for a dead straght or slightly overstable finish, about 350-400 feet. LHBH is very similar, about 250-290 feet (my other arm is still in a sling so I can likely get more with better form). I recently broke my right arm and have been learning with my left for the time being and this disc has been a great one to prcatice with. It also bucks wind really well and is reliable in pretty much all normal conditions. I do struggle to get a good forehand out of it but for me having both a right and left hand throw I dont need to mess with a forehand on the jackalope. Great disc, like I said it gets thrown on every hole because I know it will give me a great playable lie pretty much every time.

For reference, other discs I gravitate towards are the MVP Wave, Axiom Insanity, Discraft Avenger. The jackalope doesnt get as much distance as I do out of MVP wave or catalyst but still plenty for a control driver IMO.

Apex plastic is awesome! The JACKALOPE is IT! (with a guaranteed dip at the end of flight!) Pardon the pun, but that pretty much sums it up. The Jackalope is faster than "IT" is, giving the Jackalope a bit more range. I believe this disc has more glide than the rating suggests, as do the other Apex discs I own. You can throw some amazingly straight lines, and I LOVE shaping shots with this thing. Want to throw an "S" on command? Want to throw a long curvy turn with a near-guaranteed light fade at end of flight? This disc will make that happen! Want to play a one-disc round? This is your baby! You can do almost anything with this disc. I can't recommend this disc enough! EVERYBODY NEEDS A JACKALOPE!!

I have multiple Jackalopes in Eternal and Apex plastic.  They all fly similarly... albeit, they are from 2023 runs.  An Apex Jack has been my main fw driver for a few months.  I get it to fly strait for 85% of the flight, then fades back.  I recently changed my throw and gained more power.  When I throw it harder and throw flat, now that same disc turns, but never burns over.

I have the Bobcat from Mint as well. The apex plastic is amazing. This disc is very easy to throw. I like to throw it on a easy hyzer flip only using about 70% power. I also use it as my super flippy-turn over driver or roller when thrown full power. It reminds me of a discraft thrasher with more glide and this disc has tons of glide. Used more as a utility driver for me. Perfect driver for beginners.
