The Mint Discs Grackle is a slightly stable fairway driver. It complements the Mint Discs Alpha as a slightly less stable and slower-speed disc. The Grackle is perfect for most players to get controllable backhand and forehand throws!

Sublime: I found this to be more stable than the numbers suggested. It seems to vary by colors. Red Sublime in the heaviest you can get it seems to be the straightest but that seems like a lot to deal with. Overall reminds me of an Innova Eagle.

Nocturnal:  This plastic varies a bit. I would give it the true flight ratings with maybe a harder finish.

I was wrongly expecting this to be more understable than advertised just based on appearance and hand feel.  It can handle full power... it does turn but the fade is real and is reliable.  As below, it turns more in headwinds but still fades back.  I got excellent distance out of mine confirming the speed and glide as well.  Truth in flight numbers!  There is really nothing I do not like about this disc except the name does not roll off my tongue.

The Grackle feels fantastic in hand. I love 7 speed rims and this is no exception. I can get some pretty solid distance out of it. Into a very mild headwind (10 mph) it did turn more than I expected, but did come back every throw. The Grackle is working alongside my other workhorse fairway, the Relay, as a more stable compliment. I really like this disc. Nice job Mint!

The Grackle Surprised me. With it's lower speed and -1/2 on the turn and fade, I expected it to turn over in the heavy South Texas winds. I was very pleased to see that it flipped to flat from a hyzer, and didn't dump over, even in some nasty headwinds. I honestly think it plays faster than a 7-speed, as even my Explorer tends to flip past flat in headwinds over 17mph.

I have this in Glow, which is very bright and still easy to see at 300-320 feet. Zero turn out of the box with this plastic, flies similar to a Felon/Firebird/Raptor, maybe a bit more glide. Flat/puddle-top. In the bag immediately. Again this is the glow plastic which I was told is quite a bit more stable than the sublime.

This disc BOOMS for a 7 speed. I feel comfortable up to about 325' feet with this disc. Mine is still fresh and has great stability. Can crush it and it will not flip over. Just goes straight for a long time and then fades at the end. I would honestly call it an 8 speed. This disc is a staple in my bag now.

i have a 174 and its pretty overstable for me. VERY reliable, plastic and disc diameter I really like. For me its like a beat in firebird. I was told it was understable to neutral but its not that for me. i generally drive 300-320 with wraiths

    Throwing 167g in Sublime.

For me this disc is accurate to the numbers right out of the box. You can juice it to get some flight-extending turn, and if you throw it a little lighter it will hold a hyzer all the way, fading reliably in either case.

I also bag a Fission Volt and an Apex Alpha, and the Grackle slots in very nicely between those. It feels like a beat-in Fission Volt or an Alpha that's a lot less aggressive in its fade. I originally had an Electron Volt for that straighter shot with some turn, but the Grackle has kicked it out since it will stay that way much longer in the more-premium Sublime plastic.

Overall a really great disc that can compete with my distance drivers if thrown hard on a nice line drive. I'd say this disc is great for beginners who are starting to look for a workably overstable fairway driver. For context I throw 325-350 ft on the course.
