The Quantum OLS is great for straight shots that need to carry a long way.  It excels on long wooded holes with a low ceiling.  You can really lean into it for some big hyzer flips or throw it flat with moderate power for straight shots that seem to float for a long way.  I think of it as a longer Mako3.  This disc is very beginner friendly and could be a first choice for anyone looking to move from fairway drivers to distance drivers.

The Orion LS is one of the best control drivers out there. It's phenomenal for hyper flips and straight shots on tight fairways. Easily my farther flying 9 speed and a staple in my bag. Great disc for those with a bit less arm speed too.

Quantum MF - 175 grams

The Orion LS filled a hole in my bag. It's very similar to a broken-in Champion Thunderbird. Release it on a hyzer and it will flip up flat, with very little fade at the end. Great for longer woods shots.

Would recommend for recreational amateurs that are looking to up their distance. Great to start here before moving up to the 11, 12 and 13 speed drivers.

The Orion LS to me flies like a longer Patriot or Leopard.  The new runs of OLS have a much different design/feel than the OLS years past.  Recently I picked up a SIRIUS (like star plastic) and QUANTUM (like champion plastic)

Sirius: In this plastic i did notice there was some flashing on the bottom that was not comfortable.  I have a couple of these one of which i worked the flashing off. The sirius plastic is definitely the more US version (compared to Quantum) it flew like 9/5/-3/1.5 but this is on a flat power throw.  When playing with the angles the LS can flip up and ride very straight with slight turn/drift then a soft fade back.  It took a little time to get used to the flight - which was more of an elongated S flight.  It was a little sensitive to angle as the rim is fairly blunt.  Once I did adjust i could give a hyzer release to get very long straight shots through the woods. The flip up and turn can be nice and late in flight if you play with release angle.  Otherwise it can lead to a roller if you throw a power shot flat.  A lot depends on the angles and power/spin --- so I'll admit at first throws in the field....i didn't like it, i thought it was too US....but once i realized this isn't a Star Roadrunner kinda US its an Sirius Orion LS i came to really find its flight useful. - This again based on Sirius plastic ~ 172g

Based on Quantum 173g: This was more what I was hoping for out of the O-LS.  Quantum is firmer and feels a little more bulked up.  It wasn't super stable by any means but it was much like my fresh pinnacle patriot just longer. Exactly what i was searching for.  QOLS will flip to flat and stay for a nice ride until a soft-medium fade.  It can handle power but will get that long turn/straight phase, Not as sensitive to angles like the Sirius plastic.  I would say it flew 9/5/-2/1 - very useful, great for wooded courses and tunnel drives.  If you have a beat up star thunderbird that gets you that stand up straight drift slight right then a reliable fade, this kinda flies like that right away.

I really like the O-LS and O-LF great combo of control drivers that really should be way more popular as they've been around longer than many other discs.  For some reason Millennium gets forgotten by golfers, especially newer ones as stores dont seem to carry millennium.  Lets make the Orion great again.  just sayin'

The Orion LS is a nice stable to neutral flying disc when brand new. If you really lay into it, you can get some nice turn, with a fade back at the end. It reminds me a lot of a fresh Champion Valkyrie. I found this to be a very consistent disc that was very easy to dial in. The rim felt extremely comfortable in hand, and the newer Quantum plastic feels great. This is a great disc to pair with a QOLF if you are throwing those too.

This box when brand new won't give you much turn at all, but it will always give you a pretty gentle and consistent fade. The disc in the Quantum plastic is so beautiful and it feels both sturdy and comfortable in your hand. The rim is a nice size that allows you to grip it anyway you want (powergrip, fan grip, etc.). When this disc wears it, you can easily throw tunnel shots for power because this disc will want to flilp up just a bit and then ride the whole way down without falling too hard at the end of the flight.

This disc is and can be a great driver for a beginner because the speed isn't so high that it'll fade out too hard, and can handle a forhand for anybody learning them. Great disc!

I won the Orion at a tournament and I have to say it is a pretty solid fairway driver. It is pretty controllable and can be thrown for a few different shots.
