The Millennium Aries is a moderate speed, understable distance driver with a substantial degree of high-speed turn. The flight of this new disc will be somewhat comparable with the Astra or the popular Innova Tern. The Aries is an ideal disc for newer players looking to get more distance. Experienced disc golfers will love this disc for tailwinds, turnover shots, and long rollers. If you’re ready to throw farther, purchase an Aries today.

    Sirius Aries 162g

The Discmania TD2 was one of my favorite drivers so when it was discontinued I wanted to find something similar that could replace it. Spec wise the Aries comes very close so I got one and gave it a try. Well, it turns out it flies very similar! When I got the Aries and held it, it felt amazing in my hand. It's very comfortable and low profile. There are some physical differences between the Aries and the TD2. The Aries has an unusual beveled shape to the upper rim compared to the TD2's more rounded shoulder and the Aries has a blunter edge than the TD2 but it's very comfortable in the hand. I measure the rim at 21mm which is a pretty comfortable width.

Despite the high turn rating, I don't find this disc to be super understable. For me (I throw under 300) it tends to fly pretty straight out giving me easy distance with a short but dependable fade at the very end. I would give the Aries a rating of 11 6 -2.5 1.5. The Sirius plastic feels very smooth with a comfortable amount of give but it's not quite as grippy as Star or S-Line. A nice thing about Millennium Sirius and base plastics is that they come in nice bright colors that are easy to spot in any kind of terrain. Also, Millennium is one of the few companies that still makes discs below 170g in weight. Millennium doesn't produce these discs very often so if you see them in stock you should grab one when you have the chance.

    I am assuming I got a dud

I was very excited to throw this disc, it looked great and the plastic felt amazing.  I was hoping it would be a hyzer flip disc that I could use for max distnce with a tailwind. It flies like an invictus, I can throw it on a lot of anhyzer and it fights out of it early.  The rim feels very comfortable in the hand.  The one thing that seems right about this disc is it's glide, it has tons of glide.

I found a good deal on an Sirius Aries recently and picked it up hoping it might be kind of like a Surge SS.  It hasn't really been what I was hoping it would be, but it's still a useful disc in its own right.  The Aries is a fairly understable high speed driver, though not to the extent that a disc like the Mamba is.  The listed turn on the disc is -3, and in my experience so far, I would agree with that.  This disc will flip over pretty easily, but it's no so understable that flat shots turn into rollers (at least not with my power anyway).  The fade on this disc is not high, but it's something that comes into play on almost every shot.  Unless I release this disc with an anhyzer (which it will gladly hold through its whole flight), this disc always fades back at least a little.  The combination of the turn and the glide mean that a hyzer flipped S curve will be able to get you great distance.

The Sirius plastic is, of course, identical to Innova's Star plastic.  It gives a great grip and has great durability.  This disc is shallow and not especially domey.  I currently have this disc in my bag over my Mamba, as I find this disc to be much easier to control than the Mamba.

I'm in between a beginner and an intermediate player.   Upon discovering infinitediscs, I went on a spending spree and ordered a ton of beginner friendly drivers to see which gave me the most consistent long distance.  I ordered a Goldline Jade, GStar Mamba, Fission Tesla, I-Blend Sphinx, Starlite Wraith, Opto Air Saint, and the Sirius Aries.  The Sirius Aries I bought is 160g.

The Aries is the disc I can crush the furthest the most often compared wit the rest.  The Jade is great for consistent 300-325 foot shots at my arm speed, but the Aries can net me 350-375 foot shots every once in a while, and will force its way out to 250-300 feet even on my bad throws with its sheer speed and glide.  The Goldline Jade beat in really quickly too and lost its fade, so now -- unless thrown slower-- it tends to wonder out to the right.  I'd say its fair to say that the Aries is a slightly more stable/consistent Mamba.

The only reason why I wouldn't say the Aries is super beginner friendly is because, being that it is a speed 11 driver with a narrow nose, it can be touchy with how you release it.

I definitely feel the speed advantage of this disc over the likes of the Sphinx and Jade, and I actually feel it has a little more glide than its listing of 6, or that other discs are lower glide than their ratings.  I feel a fresh Aries has a touch more fade than is listed, but will probably beat in more towards a 1 or .5.

Since my first couple sessions with the Aries, I ordered 3 more 160g Aries off InfiniteDiscs to practice with.  I'm hoping to work my way to 400 feet with the Aries!

The Aries was a disc that I was excited to give a try. I was hoping for a distance driver that I could hyzerflip and throw long anhyzers with fresh out of the box. It did both of those things for me. It was somewhat flippy, but with just enough stability to maintain control. It had some really nice glide as well, making it easy to get great distance without putting in a ton of effort. This is a great disc for someone in the market for an understable flyer.

This was the first disc I ever broke 400ft with and since then I have done it countless times. Thrown hard and flat it will sail! I currently bag a 156, 168, 175 and have no plans on them leaving.

I'm a 95% forehand player.  I rarely drive off the tee backhand.  That said, I love this disc for a nice LONG anny flick shot.  This disc seems to hold the anny without crashing into a roller or turning and burning into the ground.  It can withstand a minimal headwind and not bomb out into a roller or cut roll.  I'm really liking this disc where my FD and Sphinx can't handle the torque.  I had this disc for a while before I threw it and now I wish I would have bagged this disc a while ago.  I've had a hard time finding a good disc that can take full speed flights on anny flicks that will stay up in the air and so far, this disc seems to be fitting nicely into that roll.

First disc I have ever found, and I'm glad I did! It is easy to throw and gets good distance. Hyzer this and it goes Lazer straight. Throw it flat and you will get a bit of turn with moderate fade. I feel the flight ratings are spot on for mine.

One thing to keep in mind is this thing will never be a roller (try a Viking berzerker for that), but you can get this thing to turn for days. I anhyzered this once and it when forward about 75ft and turned right about 150ft before landing.

    I must have gotten a dud :(

I was super excited about this disc, gorgeous white with silver foiled graphics. Had great reviews and it was a glide 6 understable disc. Sign me up!

Thing is....each time I threw this thing it immediately hyzers, even with headwind. Being speed 11 doesn't bother me. I can rip and turn Westside Destiny with no problems with speeds of 14 so...why is this disc acting up???  Maybe I need to break it in more...also, living in altitude doesnt help haha

The Aries gets very little love, but that's OK.  For those of us who throw it and love it, it can be our dirty little secret.  I've tried to replace it with newer, flashier, more-hyped discs like the Renegade and the Inertia.  But my 166g Aries always finds its way back into my bag (and kicks out the status-symbol discs!).  If you have 350ft power like me, this is a perfect disc for you.  Very versatile.  Not nearly so flippy as the numbers would suggest.  Thrown downwind hard and flat, it will go straight and glide out like the shooting star it is.  Hyzerflipped nice and smooth into a mild headwind, it will execute a perfect S-shot.  I throw my best rollers with the Aries--they don't cut too hard to the right or the left, they just go straight down the fairway. The shallow rim and flat profile are much to my liking.  Sirius plastic is the perfect combination of grip and give.  Highly recommended.

I have a 165 gram sirius Aries.  It was my go to backhand distance driver for a period of time.  It is an excellent disc for achieving distance.  It is somewhat understable which helps achieve that beautiful s-curve flight that nets excellent distance.  It is not so understable as to be flippy in calm conditions.  My problem was in windier conditions I could easily misjudge the wind and end up with it turning and burning.  This caused me to go to a little more stable disc as my go to driver though this is still a good disc when used appropriately.  I currently use it most often for anhyzer shots when I don't want my disc to flex out much.  It also is a good backhand disc thrown flat with a little tailwind.

This is my go to driving disc. I have a lightweight one and it is by far the disc I can get to go the straightest and farthest. Speed 11 is the fastest driver I currently have, but this disc will definately stay in my bag even after moving up to speed 12s and 13s.

If getting distance on your drives isn't the strong point of your disc golf game, you'll probably like the Millennium Aries. Like the description says, this disc really is easy to get distance with. For me, good distance on a backhand drive is over 300 feet, which was fairly easy for me to get with the Aries. With a level release this disc turns significantly and glides well. Unlike my Avenger SS and Vibram unLace my new Aries doesn't turnover into the ground with a full power throw as does my Avenger SS and Vibram unLace. When I throw the Aries low to the ground this disc hardly fades at all at the end of the flight.

This is a great disc for distance for wide open shots, and throws where it's a bad thing to fade to the left. The Aries is easier to throw than the Innova Tern, but not as understable as the Millennium Astra. Distance comes so easily with the Aries that I don't have to try to throw hard, just smooth and controlled. While testing this disc a few weeks ago during Cache Valley Disc Golf league play, the Aries helped me take the #1 bag tag home (for the first time ever) thanks to all the birdies that were set up by my long accurate drives. This is a disc I plan to keep in my bag for a while.
