With a lot of power, the Houston will carry straight for a long time, but it still has that reliable fade your looking for. It has a beautiful turnover flight, gently coming out of anhyzer for nice, soft landings. I would say that the Houston is very similar to MVP's Matrix in feel and in flight. This is a great disc to have for any occasion. Only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is the handfeel. It's fine, but more stable midranges in general tend to feel a little chunky in the hand for people without big hands.

Lone Star already had a great, straight mid with the Texas Ranger, but if you prefer the hand feel of a Buzzz or Mako 3, this is your disc. Really straight, with lots of glide and minimal fade, this is the workhorse mid everyone needs in the bag.

Lone Star has their Buzzz or Mako 3. This is a fantastic disc. If you like the Buzzz but dislike Discraft plastic, try out the Houston. I'd say its more like a 0 1 than a 0 2. Faster arm speeds will see a little turn before the minimal fade. This is a great, all-around workhorse disc.
