The Guadalupe is a high-glide, stable mold that is comfortable in the hand. Its stability provides a very manipulable disc, allowing it to hold many lines the thrower desires.

The Alpha Guadalupe is a wonderfully glidey neutral stability fairway driver. This disc can be a workhorse driver for many bags. It is good at staying on just about any line you put it on. It will do long hyzers, great hyzer flips, and flat throws that will turn throughout much of the high speed phase then fade gently at the end. Anny throws will stay on the line until the very end then do a little baby fade. Very versatile. Sneaky long. Not the best head wind fighter, but excels in calm or tail wind conditions.

Great beginner disc get a reliable fairway driver. The more experienced player will work this as a good hyzer flip option flipping up and getting the full s-flight for reliable distance in a tighter fairway

Don't let the 7 speed fool you, this disc can absolutely bomb. It glides for days and when thrown flat has consistent S curves and I've hit the 400' mark several times with little effort. Great beginner disc, very precise fairway that you can work as far as you need.

I say 4/5 stars because of the rim shape, its just not my favorite. I had a Lima for several months before losing it and recently received an Alpha as a mystery disc from Infinite that I currently bag. While I am able to throw it very well, the rim is slightly uncomfortable in my hand, but most 5-7 size rims just don't feel quite right in my hand. I throw this disc well and often, but those with bigger hands like me might prefer a Lots or Escape for similar flight.

This disc is a little flatter than the mockingbird and gets a bit more turn.  I find that if I hit this disc flat and a little too hard, it will turn more than I want it to.  It does feel like it has a little more glide than the mockingbird, but that makes it fly less dependably in the wind.  I can easily hyzer flip this disc.

This disc got me hooked on trying out lone star. It feels a little funky with a little wave in the rim, but nothing crazy like a monarch or groove. The way it feels in my hand is one of my favorite things about it.

This is my go to fairway driver. I can throw it all all angles and it fills a need. I love throwing a slight hyzer because it pops up slowly and goes dead straight for almost the rest of the flight, if I throw it on a solid hyzer it pops up and has a decent fade at the end, and flat it goes for a full s flight. It can do whatever you would like it too. If you throw it on an anhyzer it can be a little tricky and turn and burn. This disc along with an innova eagle fill almost all of my typical fairway shots. If you have tried LSD, this would be my reccomended disc to start with in their lineup.

Just started a month ago, live in windy area (NW OK)

I really liked the looks of Lone Star Discs and Guadalupe is def a comfortable and mangeable disc. I cant use it properly but for someone just learning the ropes, Guadalupe helps me with my confidence and holds my hand along the way. If you are an absolute beginner like me, the Guadalupe is a nice choice to gain expereince with and "grow in to" . I would rec a Lima model for starters as its intended for younger/older players that cant throw heavily yet.  LSD has great designs and quality. Thanks!

First, I have this disc in Lima and Alpha.  Both are unique in what they do.  This is truly the first disc I've had in my hand that I truly 'understood' what different things I could do with a disc.  Part of this is my growth as a golfer but a huge part is this disc's versatility.

Lima is insane.  Feels epic in the hand.  Closest thing to it in my experience is Kastaplast K1 Soft.  its sticky, grippy and for lack of a more professional word 'wobbly'.  Not much I can say about Alpha that hasn't been said but its a perfect fit for this disc as well.

*****This is the only important part of my review (I think)*****  This disc has helped more in the last couple weeks with me learning different lines than any of my other discs.  I grabbed a few from a local shop and a couple more from ID and have been just doing field work.  I've learned more about the mechanics of a thumber, forehand, powergrip, hyzer flip, and a whole mess of other forms using this disc because even if its not a perfect disc for it, I can use it to understand the mechanics.

I am known to a few of my friends as the 'Leopard guy' because the Leopard has been my pacifier disc until now.  I am so comfortable out of the box with the Guadalupe its taken away most of the shots I used to rely on my Leopard for.

Only downside to me of the disc and this is more a nit picky thing, I think its a bit more turn-y than rated and I wish this exact disc somehow was a speed 9 (not possible but I just want a little more speed because I'm greedy!) Otherwise a solid solid disc for anyone.

I bought my Guadalupe directly from Lone Star (this is my duty as a native Texan), and tried to hard to get hyzerflips out of it. Since late May when I bought it, I have started to learn it. Just yesterday learned very heavily on it in Stephenville, and it did not disappoint. Also, Alpha plastic is some of the toughest around. If you're looking for a fairway driver that you can do anything with, I recommend the Guadalupe.
