The Bearkat is an understable midrange from Lone Star Disc. Named after Lone Star's Founder's alma mater - the Sam Houston University Bearkats. While the flight of the Bearkat has a little overlap with the BB6, you'll find the beaded rim and shallower profile of the Bearkat provides a totally different hand feel while adding just a touch of speed.

As it was gifted, I don't actually know which plastic it is, but the bearkat has been a great disc for me as a beginner forehand! It doesn't turn quite as much as I expect, but it realiably flies flat and glides straight for quite awhile before a small fade in the end, and has been a great disc for mid range straight shots

The Bearkat bridges the gap between the Texas Ranger and the Lone Wolf, and fills in the stability gap between the two pretty well, albeit being a little closer to the Lone Wolf than the Texas Ranger. Although understable, the Bearkat is torque-resistant and flies well on a forehand hyzer-flip to turnover line. Great disc for the woods, and good for all players, regardless of skill.

Great US companion to the Texas Ranger. The profile is very similar to the Ranger and therefore feels almost identical in the hand. Makes this one a reliable go when more turn is required for a shot. Released with a little hyzer and it will flip to flat and ride as far if not further than the Ranger before giving just the slightest finish. Great for Woods shots where the lanes are tight
