I did not like the Armadillo. It's rare for me that I just can't stand a disc and can usually find something good to say about it. This time is not one of those. The plastic felt very cheap and warped pretty badly when I received it (from a player's pack). Still tried throwing it since I like thumb track discs. Oddly deep and clean releases were rare. If you want a good thumb track disc, just get a Ringer GT. If you want a low speed and low glide disc, just get a Berg. You want an easy toss and catch disc? Glitch. So many other discs do what the Armadillo tries to do but way better.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it. 3-Stars are a happy medium. 2-Stars is a water disc where it has a relavance to exist so I don't lose anything more valuable. 1-Star is a dog toy. I'll let Fluffy chew on that. Less than that and it shouldn't exist.

I feel like I am the type of disc golfer who can appreciate just about every mold that has been created. I also feel like I have a hard time saying anything bad ever. That being said, why does this exist? This disc achieves neither the glidey touchy approach lid top that the Glitch or Polecat perform so well at. It also doesn't achieve the 'get to the ground' non-glide that a Berg flight achieves. Pick one. You can't be both.

The 'quality of the plastic' is also nothing to talk about. Lone Star plastic feels not bad, but it's not great. If you're claiming to be a premium disc golf manufacturer that needs to feel at least as good as Innova Star. Yes, I did set the bar fairly low. The plastic being what it is does not justify the same prices as Discraft and Trilogy. Both companies have a much higher quality control and much better feeling plastic blends. I have seen so many Armadillos. Some are puddle topped, some are flat, some are extremely domey. I understand that this is somewhat outside of Lone Stars control, but at the same time, if your plastic comes out with so many wild variations that screams inconsistency. Alpha is so stiff and feels like I'm about to throw a piece of plywood. The Bravo plastic doesn't feel too bad, but can come out feeling as gummier than GStar and fold in my hand, or just a tad more gummy than Alpha. Lima has the gumminess and tackiness of Bravo and yet still feels like I'm holding a dog toy. This is the first one star review I've ever given. I don't understand the Lone Star hype.

This putter has been my go-to since my first outing with it. I struggled with inconstancy with my putting and was looking for a disc to change things up. The disc felt right from the first time I picked it up and after using it for 4 months, I've noticed I'm going for the putts I used to layup on.

Very nice 1 speed lid shaped disc. Has a profile similar to an Innova birdie. The alpha plastic is very durable and has nice grip, like star, esp, or fusion plastic. 1 thing that surprised me with this disc though is that it has a bit of turn. The one that I bought has a very concave flight plate though so it might be because of that. For the most part it is nice and stable though. I wanted something similar to my halo sonic but a little more reliable in wind and the armadillo fits that bill perfectly. And like other people have said, it is a more workable Kastaplast Berg. Great disc

This is like the beginner friendly berg. Very straight and just drops near the basket.

BUY THIS DISC! I can't give it enough praise, I never liked throwing "Lids" mainly to how they feel in the hand. But this disc has earned a spot in my bag!

For any shot 200' or less, this disc will fly and just drop right under the pin! The thumb track on this disc makes it comfortable in the hand, and the depth is just right. put it on any angle and it will hold steady with no deviation. This disc is one of my favorite discs I have in my bag, If you've not tried it, please go and get one and just chuck it as hard as you can! You will instantly fall in love!

(alpha-somewhere around 172g)This thing is magnetized to the chains, no two ways about it. If your putting the beadless feel may not be for you but it fits in my hand excellent. a little oomph on the spin putt and its in, catches chains and drops. I am very excited to try this in the v2 plastic next. On approach it does what you ask. The low speed low glide has been excellent for me in terms of parking at the post. A forever bagged as far as im concerned.

    A1 go to putter.

I can't switch back now that I'm used to it....this responds to your input and does what you tell it to, every time, even in wind. Amazing putter.

Also great for short treacherous approaches, upshots, downshots.....again amazing.

Best puttin putter I've tried. Absolutely love it. I'm a push putter, and this disc wants to go super straight. Also, when layin up, it wants to get to the ground and stay put. It'll never leave my bag
