    Alpha-Solid Details

Alpha-Solid is Loft's premium plastic. This plastic feels wonderful in the hand, with just enough flex for a comfortable grip. It feels quite similar to Kastaplast's K1 plastic, with just a little less grip.

    179g Alpha-Solid Silicon

This disc feels amazing. The plastic looks and feels wonderful, and the rim is very comfortable to grip forehand and backhand. The flight is very reliable: the disc will not turn over, and flies very true to the flight numbers, with a moderate skip at the end if released on hyzer. The Silicon will have a spot in my bag for a very long time. I love what Loft is doing with their discs, and you should definitely give the Silicon a try.

Loft Discs really have a premium look and feel to them. The manufacturing process is superb and the plastic looks and feels excellent.

In terms of flight, the Silicon is an excellent overstable midrange. This disc has a very smooth rim and a flat top. It doesn't have a lot of glide and is super consistent for both forehand and backhand throws.

Does it do anything different than any of the other hundred golf discs with the same flight ratings? No, but the plastic probably does feel a little bit better.

Overall, this is just a solid disc golf midrange. If you're looking for an ultra premium feeling disc and like throwing something different, then you're really going to like the Silicon.

I absolutely love this disc! The overstable mid has been the hardest slot for me to fill and along side a Pyro the Silicon will be staying in my bag for a long, long time.

The feel in hand is perfect and the Alpha-Solid plastic is great. Flight characteristics are pretty close to the numbers given from Loft. Backhand/Forehand the flight is nice, straight, and glidey with good fade at the end.

If you've been searching for an overstable mid I would highly recommend snagging a Silicon. You will not be disappointed.

I have tried hundreds of discs in my days, and I'd like to say I can spot a 5 star disc when I see it. This disc is awesome. Its flight numbers are the same as a roc3, but I think this disc is a little more overstable than one right out of the hand and has more of a sweeping fade. My flight numbers would be 5 4 0.5 3

It's by far the most comfortable midrange I have ever felt. They really nailed it on the feel. Because of the amazing smoothness, the release is perfect for a backhand and for a forehand.
The plastic feels awesome too. It's a little like kastaplast k1, and a little like Opto, but a little bit slicker than either, especially on the underside of the disc.
