The #2 Helix is one of the fastest flying discs in the Lightning line. This disc is overstable, with some high speed turn at the front of the flight allowing for some great helix (S-curve) shots when thrown with power at an anhyzer angle. Lightning recommends this disc for advanced players. In Lightning’s Standard plastic in lower weight ranges, it floats.

I've been playing about 2.5 months. I have one of these Lightning #1 Roller discs, weighting 135g. As a new player and a no longer young women, this has been a great disc to learn with. I don't have enough power to damage even its cheap plastic, but I can still make it drive about 90+ feet and then roll another 40 or more.
The rim of this disc is like a little triangle and I find it comfortable with just 3 fingers instead of four (but I have 2xL size hands). The very light weight of this disc allows it to float and I fine it noticable less fatiguing to use over a whole coarse. I finish the coarse with a +50 still so I'm getting a lot of throws.

To compare, I have 30 discs available. I have all weight ranges (only 2 lighter then this one), and options including a destroyer, wraith, leopard3, roc, shark, and a bunch of putters. Of my options, this goes the farthest for me when I'm getting tired and need control. Since all of my throws tend to still look the same, I like that this #1 Roller tends to go where I want it.
