If you like beaded, somewhat flat midranges the Valor is an excellent choice for a stable midrange workhorse. One of the three in my bag has been there for going on it's third full season and still flies almost exactly the same. This disc will hold whatever line you put it on. Hyzers, turnovers, or dead straight to baby fade this thing is amazing. For a beginner comfortable with beaded discs, this would be a fantastic first disc. Will definitely show some form flaws but is still decently forgiving, and did I mention the glide? This is one of the longer midranges I've thrown. Comparable to a Roc3 but even straighter. Awesome mid.
