The Rampage is one of THE FASTEST distance drivers on the market…. period. This is one of only a few discs that currently have a speed rating of 14. The Rampage is not only fast, but it gets excellent glide (5), has a moderate degree of high speed turn (-1), and a substantial degree of fade (4). This disc has a very wide rim (2.5 cm), and is recommended for advanced players.

I have a 175g Rampage in Icon plastic. The disc is well made, no flashing or oddities to be seen. This one feels a bit grippier than my other Icon plastic discs, which is actually nice to help control the release when really trying to crank on so fast & overstable a disc. Icon is a quality Star-like plastic that feels good, releases well for me, and typically looks pretty cool with marbleized color patterns. The Rampage stamp looks cool, though being a reflective silver on a light blue disc, it’s tricky to hold it in just the right lighting angle to be able to see clearly what it is and read what it says. As for flight characteristics, I’d say its flight numbers are correct, though I can’t really put enough on this thing to truly verify the 5 Glide or -1 turn, but the 4 fade definitely seems on the money. I’ve had a Ballista and a Corvette for 3-4 years so I’ve worked a bit with 14-speeds (both have gotten beat-in over time, of course), but neither of these ever showed the strong, hard fade of the Rampage. I’ll probably need to get this beat in before it serves me very much. For me, it’s very reminiscent of its sibling the Outlaw. Even into the wind, both tend to start hooking left on me almost instantly and produce pretty major ground play once they hit. There’s always a use for discs that give that kind of a result, though I have several now that can do that, so we’ll see which one(s) make the bag. The disc is manufactured well, and behaves as billed, so can't fault the disc in any way. I do think it's really meant for power throwers, for whom this would be a useful disc for handling high torque and headwinds and never fail to give a reliable fade. Definitely not a disc for beginners -- except when they want the disc to go 90 degrees away from where they’re throwing. ;  )

THIS IS BEEFY. This is like a workable tilt for me. I can throw this on extreme chop forehands and it will flex out with a strong fade. I keep it in my bag for overstable versatility. Wide rim and flat top feels good in the forehand.

The Rampage is a faster outlaw with a significantly wider rim. It flies very fast, a requires a lot of power. I use mine primarily had forehand discs, because they feel better in my hand for that shot. All of the ones I have thrown have very flat tops.

The Rampage is an interesting disc, because for me it falls as just stable enough to not get amazing back hand distance while at the same time having a lot of turn when thrown forehand. If i watch my wrist really carefully I can get 425 or so out of a FH and it wont fade super hard. BH I'm only getting 380 or so out of it which is more of a fairway distance for me usually.

This could be a great disc, but the players who can maximize it is a fairly small group.

I see that someone else rated this disc 2 stars, then went on to say they use under stable discs. Yeah, ignore that review.

Picked up a used Las Vegas stamped one of these. This is the only Speed 14 disc that I've had the opportunity to throw. I really like the wide rim (I have above average sized hands) and normally throw Pharaohs, Trespass, DD3 in the higher-speed range. This wasn't the meat hook I was expecting, but I'm sure that's partly due to it being beat in already.  Still a lot of fade, but not as much as something like my 19 Sexybird - probably closer to a fresh DD3 fade-wise.

Pretty accurate flight numbers. Icon plastic feels good- feels stiff with some grippyness and seems to beat in nicely. I don't normally bag this, but will on super windy days for strong headwind or left to right (RHBH) shots.

    legacy icon rampage.

great disc if your arm can handle it. i rated not beginner friendly for the fact that most new players just don't have proper mechanics or arm speed for this disc.

broken in, this disc can hyzer flip to flat and go a long way. stays stable in a headwind.

    great disc.

Rampage is my go to disc flat out. I put neutral for beginners cause I picked up this disc in my second year where i'd be lucky to pound a disc 250ft. While testing out this disc I accidentally let it out late and the thing flew farther than my friends or I have ever seen! Easily upped my game by an instant 100ft consistently. In short words this disc actually helped me fine tune my power throw because it can stand to be whipped without flipping right into the woods or dirt.

Upon your first throws give it a nice soft anhyzer release and watch it come back hard. After your first 20 throws try and release it fast and straight it should turn more than it's numbers say and come back the right amount.

If throwing headwind give it a hyzer release because it can hyzer-flip and the wind will help it even more.

If you throw with a strong tail wind throw it dead strait and get ready for a show!

I have had about 7 rampages. 2 pinnacle and 5 icon. I have found them very temperamental. Some are stable but not like the numbers would suggest. Most are floppy that I have had. The pinnacles were the most flippy. I did get them when they first came out though. Still a very useful disc no matter if stable or not. Very fast and love all the plastics legacy offers. I just ordered 2 new ones to try out and see if they are more consistent. When i ordered these i ordered a bunch of cannons also. They were all pretty much a mix. Some cannons were more stable then any rampage. It reminded me of the prodigy issue when they came out.

I absolutely love this disc. Mine broke in perfectly. From a slight hyzer, I can flip it up to flat or even just a tad anny, and it soars. It also holds a decent hyzer for those big spikes when you need them.

This disc is a monster! I flick primarily and have tried many discs for long range shots, but keep coming back to the Rampage. I throw it on a high anhyzer flick and can hit up to 400 ft pretty regularly. I've bombed a few over 450. The numbers are not accurate in my opinion. Even if I throw it flat it turns significantly but still has a healthy fade, but certainly not a -1 4, more like a -2 3. There are some inconsistencies with the molds though. I've got a white Icon that is as flippy as a Sidewinder. Overall though I've been pretty happy with each of the 5 I now own. The rim is extremely big, which is helpful for my grip, but it makes the disc feel heavier than it actually is. Watch out for this disc in a side wind (left or right), I turn it over like none other.

This disc is very fast and flys very far. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. The plastic that I have (Icon) feel nice and will fly true. The only complaint I have, and it isn't with the disc itself, is that it's flight pattern is so similar to my Cannon. The Max weight Icon cannon should have the flight ratings of this disc...it doesn't have a -3 turn like its ratings suggest. This disc however seems pretty true to its flight ratings though I may say the fade is a 3. It doesn't fade ridiculously like you may think out of a 4 flight rating. I use this disc for shots where I want a nice straight bomb. I like to use it in more open type shots, but that's only due to my inconsistency, not the discs. It will go where you throw it and it will get there fast.
