I received this disc originally as a mystery disc back when I first started playing seriously and it helped my game immensely. I live at high elevation where discs aren't nearly as flippy so take this with a grain of salt, but the Nemesis is the very best "Distance" driver to have a beginner try. It will get some turn with great glide to maximize distance even with a slower arm speed. This makes it a great disc to let your newer friends borrow to get them hooked on the sport. Once you develop arm speed, it makes a great hyzer flip disc in the mountains or a great utility roller disc at lower elevation. Legacy makes great plastic but they are known to have slightly inconsistent runs of discs (especially their distance drivers) so just know that no two runs will fly the exact same.

The Nemesis is a very understable control driver. It has a comfortable rim, and fits well in your hand. It is more of a utility disc, for big turnovers, rollers, or hyzerflip to turning shots. It would also work well as a first driver for anyone wanting to move up from the teebird speed range.

I was incredibly surprised by how workable this disc is. I love flipping this to flat from an 8 o clock hyzer or a nice controlled turn for a long way before it hooks up. definetly a disc to have two of, beaten in and new. Also works great to hyzer around corners that need to gain distance and flip to flat after the corner.

This is the most understable disc I’ve ever thrown. I don’t have the strongest arm, and this is the only disc I’ve ever thrown that I have to worry about it flipping over. For me (throwing RHBH), I try to throw it about 50%-60% and get a straight, short, controlled drive with minimal fade at the end, or 75%-85% for a gradual right turn that fades almost none. But if I get on it 100% it flips over like crazy.

For someone very new to the game, this could be a great starter driver to get some early distance before becoming frustrated and quitting.

I am working through trying to learn what this disc will actually do for me. It is very understable in my hands. It works better for me throwing forehand which I am just trying to develop. I tried throwing as a roller and the Mongoose holds the line longer and better than the Nemesis. Backhand when hyzer flipped it will still if lots of power is given to the disc turn into a turnover and roll. Not sure if this disc will ever stay in my bag but with more work I might find a place for it.

First off I want to say I am a huge fan of Legacy discs.  This review is mainly as a general caution to anyone with even moderate arm strength looking at picking up the nemesis.  This disc is by far the most understable disc on the market today, even at max weight.  If I release this disc on almost a 90 degree hyzer angle it still turns and burns!  The three stars is to throw caution to the wind, LEGACY IS NOT JOKING WITH THE -4 TURN RATING!  If you are looking for a roller I recommend the Legacy Mongoose over this disc.  The 2 fade rating on this disc also seems exaggerated, my feeling on this was that it was finishing more like a 1, finishes similar to the Legacy bandit.  IMO the Legacy Bandit is a far superior disc than this one if your looking for a controllable hyzer flip disc!
