I placed an order and on checkout, I had the option to add a mystery disc for $12 and this is what I got. It came in white, but the edges of the disc are discolored and slightly yellowish. The thing is wacky overstable, so it might have some utility here and there. But, on the whole, that was not worth the money for me. I'd expect something more inside the bell curve on a mystery disc instead of this outlier, but that's the gamble. Unfortunately, I won't use that mystery feature again.

I came to disc golf after playing ultimate for several years. This disc feels like my first time throwing a driver, but every single time I throw it: rips out of my hand and dumps hyzer. It fades, HARD, every time. I can throw a nearly 60 degree anhyzer forehand (RHFH), and it will still dump hard to the right by the end of the flight.

I can see the utility of this disc, but it will always be one of the last ones I put back in my bag because it really only has one use. Its low glide makes it less useful for flex shots, and fades so hard on non-flex shots that it can be a little difficult to accurately place.

Its a meat hook but I suppose thats what it is designed to do. Do I ever use it not really unless I need to just get out of jail.

Honestly, I'm having trouble finding a reason to choose this disc over others.  Its so overstable that the only reasonable backhand shot is when you need a huge dump to the left (RHBH), but the thing is, for that shot you could use something a little less stable with a more aggressive hyzer angle and you still have a disc that has more utility besides just dumping out at the end.

I thought I would at least get some mileage out of flicking with it because of the super high stability, but I didn't find this disc to be very torque resistant.  Overall if you're looking at this disc I would recommend an Innova Firebird or something comparable to that instead.  Definitely not beginner friendly because its so one dimensional, and a good player would be able to create these types of shot with a different disc.

This disc is made for spike hyzers, force flexes, and 100 mph headwinds. If you can get this disc to fly flat over 300 ft., then you have unbelievable arm speed. I would compare this disc to an Innova Max.

The Fighter comes out swinging overstable.  I was very surprise how crazy this disc turns (RHBH) left.  This is more of a fairway driver.  In order to get this to fly straight, I had to put it on an anny (backhand).  However, when I put enough snap on it held its line longer..  Flys wonders against strong headwind.  My favorite part of this disc was to watch a skip.  It totally fish tails like no other.  Not a beginner friendly disc.  For someone with enough arm speed, they will like this.

Awesome beefy disc! This in my mind would be a fairway Justice. It goes a further than I can throw a Justice. The Fighter turns out of my hand right away, which made throwing it flat and right at the basket didn't work. I used it as a big hyzer disc to get around big targets, or for big skip shots. When thrown on an anny it didn't last long. It did get me a little more distance, though.

I'm not very good at forehanding, but when I threw this forehand I didn't like the way it felt as much. My one nitpick that I found was that the edge of the disc was a little more abrasive on my index finger when flicking.

This is an awesome meathook disc! Give it a shot!

Played two rounds  the other day at Morley in San Diego and Kit Carson in Escondido.  Ended up using the fighter a lot and i really like it.  It is a beef cake but it is perfect for a lot shots and with power thrown flat it actually flies pretty nice for a while and then fades hard. Definitely a disc to utilize for distances of 225 to 300ft depending on the hole of course.  Low skipping forehand shots were nice. When thrown on a high hyzer the stability and high fade make the disc drop and spike nicely out of the sky  witch can be useful.  I had to use it on approach shots a lot as well both standing forehand and backhand to get around trees or if i needed it to make sure the disc faded away from danger zone.  in addition to fighting the wind, it also fights trees pretty good to lol.  it dinged off a few trees got knocked dead right and some how pushed forward an extra 30 to 50 ft to the target.  It was pretty cool.  I'm bagging this thing.  When you need a disc you can trust no matter what, pull out the fighter!

Wow, the Fighter is pretty much the fairway equivalent of a Dynamic Discs JUSTICE when it comes to overstablility. This disc wants to turn, and turn hard. I primarily throw backhand, and I had to put a lot of power on this disc to get it crack 200 feet before fading at a steep angle. The only way I could get it passed that distance was by throwing it on a steep anhyzer, and it still would fight its way back to that fade for a sharp-angled S-curve. If ever playing in a strong head wind, this disc could be very useful.

I'm a big fan of utility discs, so even though I don't picture myself using the Fighter often, I can definitely see myself using it for very specific purposes and being able to count on it to do its intended job-- fight wind, or fight around a corner. Sometimes you need a disc that turns and turns hard. Sometimes you need a disc that when thrown low will fade and skip like a champ because it still has enough speed to fly another 30 feet after turning and skipping off the turf. Sometimes you need to throw into wind gusts and not have your disc blow away.

Not recommended for new players or anybody who wants a disc to fly straight and fly far. It is recommended for those who want a meat-hook for special occasions. Enjoy!

Beef City right here! If you are looking for an absolute meat hook that you can count on to always fade back, then look no further! I got the chance to play around with the new Legacy Fighter today, and man, it is sooooo overstable. I was throwing a 172g in Icon plastic. It has to be distant cousins with the Dynamic Discs Justice and the Hyzerbomb Moab. I personally throw pretty regularly a Latitude 64 XXX, so when I first started throwing the Fighter I tried to tell myself that it was just like a new XXX. But the more I threw it the more I realized this was no XXX. The fighter is more turn resistant than the XXX. Their ending fade is similar, but the XXX didn't want to turn over for anything. I thought it fit in my hand perfectly for both backhand and forehand drives. I threw it on a hole that I normally throw a TeeBird on. Its a little over 300 feed with some trees guarding the basket. in front and to the left. Usually if I hang my TB out right, it will fade in nicely toward the basket. With the Fighter, I released it with some pretty stiff anhyzer out to the right, and just as I expected it spent the whole flight working its way out of the anhyzer and dove down right toward the basket leaving me with an easy putt. If you play at lower elevation and can't seem to find anything that will not turn over, I'd definitely recommend you give the Fighter a try. I think it is a great addition to Legacy's already fantastic lineup.

Well. Legacy is not kidding about this thing being able to fight a headwind. I tested a brand new pink 172g Legacy Fighter. This driver is beefy overstable. Unless I throw it on a steep anhyzer, I can't get more than about 250 feet distance out of the Fighter. This disc is clearly a utility disc with a specific purpose of being very overstable.

For me, throwing the Fighter backhand would only ever happen if I were throwing in 30 mile per hour winds. I tried throwing it on a 300 foot hole with OB both right and left. I aimed far to the right knowing that it would come back left, and even tried putting it on an anhyzer, well, it never even made it over the right OB area and faded all the way to the OB left.

Two of my favorite discs are the Discraft Flick and MVP Resister. Flight wise, these discs are pretty similar with the Fighter, but the Fighter feels much different. While the Fighter is pretty flat on top, it is rather curvey for about the first inch or so on the rim area. With the way I hold a disc for forehand throws, this makes it hard for me to consistently throw. The curved nature of the Fighter causes me to accidentally release it on an Anhyzer angle. Fortunately, the disc is so overstable, it always comes back, but the accidental anhyzer release definitely makes the Fighter less consistent for me than flat top discs with similar flights.

If you're a Legacy fan and want something that is ridiculously overstable, you'll want to try the Fighter.
