The Lander is an excellent debut putter from Launch Disc Golf. It has a flat top, a nicely rounded nose (rim) for comfort, and a smooth micro-bead for a little added stability.

I love this disc. I have about two seasons with it now. This is my go to approach disc. I love the high amount of glide. You don’t have to throw this hard; just a little flick or even a jump putt and it wants to go. My favorite way to use this disc is on little stall hyzer approaches. I put it up kind of high and let it crash towards the basket. Its so good at giving it a little run while also staying close to the basket. It is also great at getting around obstacles. Very predictable fade and enough glide to let the disc do all the work. I can’t recommend it enough. Many times I’ve been in a tough spot and was able to get out with a disc sitting in or near the basket.

My Lander is 169g in Safefly plastic.  I've thrown quite a few different putter molds, and out of all of them, this is the one that wants the least to fly.  Low on glide, dumps fast.  The plastic beats in like DX but feels better.  It would be comfortable to putt with but I can't get a reasonable putting distance out of it.  If you want an approach disc that is comfy and can handle power, I think this'll do it for ya though.

I bought the safe fly (rubber) lander for winter golf to avoid it sliding on the ice on approach shots. I certainly was good for that. I can't speak for the other plastics but the lander I have is quite stable with low glide so as a bonus it is a great and reliable disc for approach shots within 150-200' I am cycling it out of my bag for the summer as I don't like how gummy it feels in the heat but will most likely be revisiting it over and over.
