This has become my go to approach mid. It's not a straight flyer like a chariot or a Buzzz, but it will go where I send it and stop there. Usefully overstable in that it will hold a line for about 200ft before dumping forward to the ground. I struggle with OS approach discs because they are either too beefy or too straight. This Savior is like a goldilocks OS disc. And the Royal Grand plastic is always the best plastic.

The closest comparioan I can make is it is similar to a Chicane or maybe a Pyro. If you need a mid you can trust to do the same thing everytime, this is the one.  If you want a mid to fly straight and glide for days, look elsewhere.

It flys a little straighter, and feels a little more shallow than a Z plastic Zone. The Royal Grand plastic is nice, and the Savior is a good mold, but the price ruins it for me.

A very good and shallow zone replacement. Not quite as overstable as the typical zone in my experience, but not very far from it. I think it's similarly shallow as a zone, but the rim and hand feel is slightly different. So if you want a zone replacement due to hand feel or that you love the superb royal grand plastic from latitude 64, this is the disc for you. I won't give it 5 stars due to it not fitting perfectly in my hand, as the discmania drop is my overstable approach disc of choice, but this is definitely not a disc you can go wrong with.

This is like a Zone, but Royal plastic is better than any zone plastic in my opinion.  I love throwing this hard into a head wind.  Fantastic approach disc where you swing it out wide and watch it Fade into the basket.

Fantastic approach disc. I use this for forehand approaches onto the green and have great accuracy with it every time. For some reason it fits better in my forehand grip better than other approach discs. I tried several approach discs before this one and this one has the best feel of them all - And also seems to go a little bit further before fading out.

Similar to a Harp and the Lone Star Harpoon for me.I bag both of those but I still love this disc. Throw it hard and it will go straight with a predictable fade, Its great as a uitility disc as well for when you need that low speed, overstable kind of disc. Royal Grand plastic is my favorite and has been super durable.

Right between a Harp and Anvil?

I was disappointed Westside stopped producing the Anvil, I dont know why they did that. I've since started using a Justice after I lost my only Anvil. The Justice is a touch more OS, but also has a pretty fat bead. I've been using it for approaches but sometimes it's just a little too fast. I just happened to come across the Savior in a shop and instantly just thought "This looks like an Avil but a touch deeper." After throwing it off the tee and having some approach shots, that's just what it is. It's like a lower profile, beadless Harp (yes, Harps have a tiny bead) and prob a touch more OS than a VIP Harp. It's a great OS approach disc that kicked out my VIP Harp immediately, which is saying a lot becuase I love Harps like no other. It's also unique in that it really bridges the gap between putter and mid range feel in the hand. Unique but not weird at all.  So if you're looking for a board flat, solidly OS, beadless 4 speed, serkously consider the Savior. It's a workhorse approach disc.

Love this disc so much. It's become a staple in my bag for up-shots and approach shots. It always seemes to find a way to the basket for me and I love how easily it can hold a hyzer line. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who needs a solid approach shot workhorse.

I adore Westside's anvil. It's been a staple in my bag for 3 years now. Tried the harp but couldn't justify having something so close to the anvil - when do I throw one vs the other?

Then I tried a savior. Instantly in my bag. Extremely torque and wind resistant, shapes like a dream. We always joke about "I just have to find the perfect disc to get this hole" well for the hardest hole in my local course this is that perfect disc.

If you've struggled to find a stable midrange that will always fight back, give the savior a try.

Super reliable approach disc, in one of if not the best plastic on the market.

Everything I was hoping for. I have only got 2 rounds and 2 field sessions on it but I love it. The feel of the plastic of great. The sides are flat angle like the distortion, Toro, or temple, I feel I like. The flight is great, can do anny that fights back with a good finish, shapes thru trees like a dream. Didn't do the like .5 stars because it's new but first impressions are great. Must have if a Lat64 or Royal line fan. If in the market for a OS approach I definitely recommend giving this a look.
