The Saint is easily one of our most popular discs and is nearly impossible to keep in stock. Latitude 64 has responded by creating a new mold of the Saint, the “Saint Pro”. According to Latitude 64: “The Saint Pro is the big brother of our popular control driver, Saint. We gave it a little bit more stability, and the outcome was very favorable with our test crew. Reliable, with enough stability and control for both turns and distance.”

The Opto Saint Pro is a good compliment to the Saint. It feels relatively similar in the hand, and provides an adequately more overstable flight compared to its little brother. This disc is by no means a Firebird or similar disc though. It is moderately OS: like a beat in Thunderbird. On flat backhand throws it will turn a bit through its high speed flight and it will end with a moderate but still forward penetrating fade. Its not my favorite forehand disc, I tend to torque it over too often so I end up reaching for a PD or Firebird. Its a decent wind fighter, but can still be thrown around some.

Flys very straight on a hyper flip with little fade at the end. The dome helps a lot with distance. I typically throw it 400-425 feet. (Opto plastic)

Fantastic fairway driver. Very comfortable in the hand, has plenty of speed, plenty of glide, and a consistent fade at the end. My first one was used and it is one of the most accurate fairway drivers that I've ever had. Works well forehand as well as backhand and is great for long straight drives as well as slower touchy shots

Wow I finally figured out how to throw this disc and it is my go to workhorse now! I originally had it in Gold Line and liked it enough to upgrade to Opto when I found it at Play it Again. And wow did that make all the difference in the world. This thing holds a line like none other and fades consistently forward at the end of flight. I definitely don't think I would've been able to throw this starting out as a player but having a year under my belt has helped me figure out angle control and speed. This one definitely has more high speed turn than advertised but it honestly makes me like it more. Would recommend to anyone as a backhand or a forehand disc.

This is a great beginner disc, with the speed and overstability of a distance driver, it can be helpful when transitioning from slower speeds to high speeds. It provides great lines, it flies decently straight with a reliable fade at the end of its flight. After having this disc for awhile, when beat in, you can hyper flip the disc with a right finish, or a late fade at the end of its flight. When I got it brand new, it flew over stable, and slowly started to beat in to a stable disc, and finished with a great understable disc.

I have been playing for a while but I don't have the fastest arm speed. The Saint works great for me. It has great control and distance even with my slower arm speed. It is by far the straightest fairway driver in my bag. It has great versatility whether I'm playing an open course or a tight wooded course. I'll always have a saint in my bag

One of the best discs ever designed. Workable on almost any line, but it truly shines on a slow turn with minimal fade. Glide is insane as well.

Overall this is my favorite fairway driver. Because of the glide I can get it out almost as far as my distance drivers. Brand new they are pretty straight flyers with a little finish at the end. As they beat in, you will get a little turn out of them. In a head wind they do tend to turn over a little more than desired.

The Saint Pro is a fairway with some serious glide, because of this i overthrew baskets with it when i first started using it. I think it would make a great first stable driver for someone just moving up to drivers from mids. I also think it is great for people with bigger arm speeds that want to have a disc that has a smaller rim, but throws like a higher speed driver.

Great Disc for fairway drives.   It holds a fairly tight S-curve when thrown with some power, also great for flex shots.  Great for pure anhyzers and hyzer lines thrown with a little bit of finesse.  If you want something that goes dead straight in the woods or on tunnel shots I would recommend TL or Teebird.

I love this disc.  For me, a beginner to intermediate level player coming from an Ultimate background, this disc flies like a Buzzz albeit a decent amount further.  I was very surprised to see this disc described as Very Overstable on the website as it may be the most stable driver that I have ever thrown outside of maybe an Axiom Crave.  If you are looking for a disc for those tight tunnel shots I would highly recommend this disc.  Note: the disc I have I bought used but it doesn't look too beaten in (opto plastic), I am not sure how much different a brand new Saint Pro would fly.

The Saint Pro is a great, versatile fairway driver that does everything you want in your go-to. It has a dependable but small fade and plenty of control. It has a nice full "S" flight with more distance potential than your typical Teebird type disc. It flips up very nicely for forehands as well and feels great in any grip. With its stable to overstable flight, it is the perfect complement to the stable to understable Falchion.

I was expecting an overstable disc when I ordered my 172g Saint Pro. But its just stable. I really cant tell the difference between this disc and my escape. Possibly a little more glide. It's not a bad disc at all it's just that I already have this slot filled it my bag. I'd just get a thunderbird.

I love the versatility of this disc.  This was the disc I started using after I learned how to throw backhand.  It can be throw with a hyzer and keep the line or it can be thrown flat and achieve a good s-flight.  The only downside is that is doesn't handle a strong headwind.  The disc feels comfortable in the hand.  I throw in a little elevation so it's slightly more overstable for me, but that fits perfect.  I would definitely recommend this disc if you can throw 300 feet plus.  This will be a workhorse for you.  I use this when I need a little more stability than my Escape has.

I should preface this review by saying that I'm not an enormously experienced player, I've been playing for roughly a year...

But I can't really find a use for this disc. It's reasonably overstable which can be helpful, but the glide on the thing is ridiculous -- 7 is definitely accurate, similar to the regular Saint or River molds. Usually I'll only reach for an overstable fairway driver if I'm up against some wind, but the Saint Pro's glide makes it somewhat undesirable for those conditions.

That said, I think for a beginner to intermediate player who can handle some fade this disc can be useful for more open shots where one is looking to get some extra distance. Personally, at that point I'd rather reach for a longer range disc rather than use a slower lofty-er one...but that is just my preference.

Also, while I stand by my claim that its overstable, it's not "very overstable" as it's sometimes said to be; Fade number 4 is frankly kind of ridiculous...I mean, hasn't anyone thrown anything with a fade 4? They throw nothing like this disc. I'll give it 2.5 fade at the most if you're throwing it with enough power, 3 perhaps if you're a little underpowered.

I have a 173g McCray Opto and a 169g Gold Line.  Both are fabulous. Was expecting them to be ultra overstable. Lat64 has them officially rated 8|6|0|3 and Inbounds DG (who Infinite cites) has them at 9|7|0|4.  I'd say 9|6|-0.5|3.  Depending on how much power you give them, they are BOTH very workable and dependable discs and I bag both.

Love this Disc! It definitely doesn't fade much like the numbers say but it can handle a really firm throw and go straight a really long way and it does fade at the end to keep it trusty. only slight ding on it is that due to the glide once it starts to slow down the wind can make it do some funny stuff in the air.  It looks like a tiny pilot just started driving the disc.  It always ends up around your target area though its kinda fun to watch!  There are a number of similar discs but they are all to flippy .  Nice control driver and feels great in hand. I would recommend weights of 175 to 169. you can get this disc to turn some but its trusty.

174 g Pink Opto Saint Pro

The Saint Pro is a great mold. A really really great mold. It is everything that I wanted out of a fairway driver. But unfortunately, like all of my other trilogy discs, it broke in wayyy too quickly. I would say that it is never as OS as advertised. Straight out of the box to me it is a 9 6 -.5 2. In its current state, after a few months with it, for me the Saint Pro is a 9 6 -1.5 2. This is a really good low to medium power straight disc for me. It behaves similar to the River. I think that this mold is phenomenal for someone who can appreciate a smooth straight shot. If the premium plastics were a little more premium, I would love this disc even more.

The saint pro will go straight and then turn left.  It feels great in the hand.  Mine is good for high shots that need to fade to the left at the end.

I just can't get the consistency out of this disc to warrant a spot in my bag.  Sometimes it feels understable, othes stable.  I know lots of people love this one, but I find the Convict to be similar with a more consistent flight.  Guess it's just not right for me.

I bag two Saint Pros currently, a 167 light purple opto and a 172 purple/blue gold line. They are my most thrown drivers on my local courses, which are heavily wooded. The opto has a fair amount of turn if thrown with power. It flies a nice S curve line and finishes near center, kind of like my slightly heavier opto saint but a little less likely to turn too much and finish right. The gold line is reliably straight to fade, but doesn't dump hard like my XXX, and goes farther than my recycled spark. I would rate the lighter weight opto 9/6/-1.5/2, and the gold line 9/5/0/2. I enjoy carrying both.

When I want a looonng straight flight with a moderate fade at the end I reach for my Saint Pro. In calm conditions I will get a little turn during the flight before it fades back. The fade is not a 4 as advertised though. Also, the high glide makes this disc really sucseptable to the wind. At the same time, the glide makes it easy to get that extra distance.

I must say I love my 173g Opto Saint Pro; it went straight into my bag after three throws. I've been throwing a Saint for about a year, and I love the way it feels in my hand, but it was getting quite flippy. So when I was ordering another one, I figured I'd try the Pro as well. I was warned about the false ratings, but you know, you can't have too many discs. And I was not at all disappointed. This is essentially Trilogy's Teebird; it's everything I love about the Teebird mixed with what I love about the Saint. I throw it up to 300, and it goes dead straight with a decent fade. I give it a true 8-6-0-2 out of the box. For me, a Felon/Convict, two Saint Pros, and one Saint will provide every shot I need and make for a lineup that is super easy to throw.

I love my Saint Pro. With that said, it is not as the flight number describe. The Saint Pro will fly straight for much longer than say a Felon, and I do not find it to fade as hard as the flight numbers. Powered up with a flat throw, you should see a nice stable straight flight. There will be a reliable fade at the end. I use this disc when there is more wind than the Stag can handle, I need a harder left finish, or bomb hyzer shots. Great off the tee, great to flick. I shyed away from this disc when starting out due to the flight numbers, but again, not as overstable as they suggest.

I have a 165 g opto Saint Pro.  I bought it to be an overstable control driver.  Unfortunately I found it to be much less overstable than the ratings suggest.  Compared to my 166 g star Teebird it turns quite a bit more when thrown full power and flat (rhbh) and then fades more as it slows down.  It does complete a nice s-curve flight and has decent distance potential for a control driver.  It just wasn't the flight path I was looking for when I bought it, and I had a hard time finding times to use it.  It's not currently in my bag though I may try it again in the future.

This disc is amazing. I throw an opto 175g version. Right out of the box great feel. Plastic is tacky champion, rim is small, nice dome for glide. A new st. Pro flies exactly as the flight chart says. Nice and overstable, goes straight with a healthy fade and decent glide. Id give it 9,5,0,4. After beating in (which really doesnt take too long, maybe 100 throws?) This disc becomes 9,7,-1,3. This is my go to driver. If thrown 10-20 degrees hyzer it holds a slight hyzer and goes right where you want. Thrown flat it turns a little (and holds it for days because of the glide) and fades back reliably if given enough length to compensate for the massive glide. A little anny sends this disc right and it will GLIDE and finish flat. Nose up with your anny and you get a great s shot. A bit of nose down and you'll turn and burn of course. My throwing specifics: I throw mostly at sea lelevel in moderate to high humidity. I have a high arm speed and I like to throw with a LOT of spin and snap. I'm 6' 5" with an 80 in wingspan.

The Saint Pro is just what it says it is -- a more overstable Saint. While the original Saint never should have been labeled as "Overstable," it was the nice understable high speed turn that helped the Saint glide so well and get so much distance as a speed 9 driver.

For me the Saint Pro lacks the amazing glide of the original Saint. It's still a really good driver, and probably more predictible, but I'm not able to get as much distance out of it. Doing my field tests I compared the Saint Pro with the Dynamic Discs Escape and the Latitude 64 Fury. The Saint Pro and the Escape are very similar while the Fury is substantially more understable. I would have compared it with my Saint, but it's currently lost in a pond. My beat in goldline Saint and Opto Line Fury were very similar when I compared them. From my limited testing, the Saint Pro is exactly as described. Compared with the original Saint, this is the better choice if you have more power or drive primarily forehand.
