This starts out as a -1 2, but Royal plastic beats in so extremely fast, that after only a few rounds, it's already flying like a -2 1.  I needed a glidey disc with dependable fade for this slot, and it didn't last long at all.  Royal beats in super quick.

I have an old (faster) Lucid Escape that's still holding true to it's numbers (at my armspeed), so I'm going back to that one for this slot.

Also, this company sometimes cheats with their numbers.  An 18mm (1.8cm) rim is technically an 8 speed fairway driver.  I'm guessing it ended up being too flippy after the mold was made, so they downgraded the speed rating and just bumped up the glide.  "impressive" glide numbers always help sales.   But they should have readjusted turn and fade numbers as well, because even thrown at the revised "speed" (aka whatever distance you'd reach to a 7 speed for) it's still understable at day 5 onwards.

    Expect 8 4.5 -2 1 , maybe 8 5 -3 1 , depending how you look at it.

if you switch the flight numbers this disc is a great hyzerflip disc that have the slightest fade at the end.

The brave was everything I was looking for in a neutral to understable fairway driver. It is a consistent and dependable disc in little to no wind and in a tailwind can compete with most of my distance drivers. The workable nature of this disc allows me to carve it through the woods with late turn.

The Royal Grand Brave is a great disc you can use for lots of different shots!!  Starting with the only knock on the disc, the turn number is indeed wrong.  I put it at more of a -2 but it does finish with a nice reliable fade.

Throw it flat with less power and you will get a nice S curve.  Put a slight hyzer angle on it and it will flip to flat and glide for days before finishing with reliable fade. Throw it on full hyzer and it will hold the hyzer angle, glide for days, and finish left!!  Throw it on anhyzer with 70% power and it will be a great turnover that straightens out a little at the end.

The Tour Series Royal Grand Orbit seem to be a bit more stable.  Maybe a -1.5 on the turn.

Royal Grand plastic is the best plastic on the market right now!!

Royal grand plastic is the best- +2 stars

    Hand feel is fantastic+2 stars

Flight number for turn is pretty "off" -1 stars

Easy peasy hyzer flips that glide for days and days, with solid finish +2 Stars.

If you are intermediate or better you'll be kinda irked that the numbers aren't exactly true to what you throw.  This is understable.  No doubt about it.  However, you can use that, hyzer flips to flat the run super straight with a nice little bit of finish are this discs niche.

I've also thrown it on substancial hyzer and it pushed forward on the hyzer not coming out of it.  I'm only hoping that when it gets fully beat in it doesn't just turn into a roller/turn over but I don't think it will.  I love this disc so far and it kicked out the river.

    173 Royal Grand Brave

    My numbers would be 7  6  -1  1.5

I know others have stated that the numbers are way off, but that is not my experience. I have just now thrown it enough to give it a fair review. I absolutely love the disc. It is quickly becoming my go-to for a lot of shots. It has enough stability to be dependable for me. As long as my release is clean (no rolling of wrists) I can throw this level or a very slight hyzer and it is a laser out to 300 feet with very little turn with a straight to very slight finish. I even hyzer flipped it into a headwind recently and it held very well. I can put it on a slighy anny and it will hold the turn and fade out late as long as I give it enough height. When you learn the disc, it is a fantastic straight disc with pretty good distance potential because the glide is great. Throw it correct and it just keeps going straight.

At this point I have very few new discs that make my bag. This one was instantly in the bag and I just keep finding more uses for it. Haven't been this excited about a new disc in quite a while.

The Brave is a fine disc, however the advertised flight numbers are way off.  If you like throwing on a hyzer angle you might like it.  I would put the flight numbers closer to a -3 turn with a 1 fade.  Even in tailwinds this disc will get significant turn. If you hit it just right this disc will go crazy far, however that's true for must understable discs.

It's a fine disc, but it was marketed as a middle-ground between a River and Explorer and it's definitely not that. My very first throw turned just as much as my already beat-in River. It handled a downhill-and-to-the-right hole very well, just gliding right the whole time. So it still might be a useful disc for you, just don't trust the flight numbers. Very glidey.

I wish this disc had come out when I was learning disc golf, it would have been my first driver. Perfect for slower arms, and will flip to flat and hold straight and then fade back to the left (RHBH). The Roayl Grand plastic is amazing and this disc just shoots out of your hand with percision.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it.

My first throw with this disc was on my comfortable hyzer angle with about 80% power. She flipped up, turned over, and then held the turn for the rest of the flight and finished on anhyzer. Oh, and it was about 8ft off the ground the whole it seems to just hover. Man does she like to glide and it was the easiest 380' of my life. That being said the flight numbers are not accurate and I could not get this disc to hyzer unless I threw it sky high and nose up. This wasn't designed with players like me in mind and I highly recommend this to any newer, or lower arm-speed player as the glide is unreal. Royal Grand plastic feels good as always and I really liked the flight when I powered down on it and was getting some solid rollers.

I used the prototype of the Brave and it flew like a river with a little extra finish. Great for hyzerflip to turnover lines if you power up on it. I have a medium arm speed and it's probably my farthest flying disc at the moment. If you are wanting a river with the royal grand plastic this is the disc for you!
