Similar to the late Grym, the Kastaplast Vass is made for long and smooth S-Curve throws and tailwind bombs. It's a highly workable, big distance driver for the common player. Big arm throwers will find it to be an incredible disc for long turnovers with tons of glide.

My Flight Ratings: 12/5/-1.5/2 Not Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 375 Straight Score: Slightly Understable

I recently purchased a Vass as I wanted to try some more Kastaplast molds.  The Vass has a nice flight to it, it definitely has some turn but it's not extremely understable.  It flips up to flat very nicely when released on hyzer and has a long glidey s-curve flight pattern.  It still has a fairly reliable fade at the end so I found I can throw the Vass pretty much full power without it turning over.  It is a little sensitive to the angle of release, if thrown too hard and flat it will veer off the fairway.  But it is great for a relatively straight shot, useful for when you have a small gap to hit but still need good distance.  The flight reminded me of a longer Lots, both discs have a nice amount of turn and also enough stability to bring it back at the end of the flight.   The Vass is a little on the shallow side so if you have big hands you might find it uncomfortable.  The K1 plastic feels great as always, firm and grippy.  This is a great choice if you are looking for a 12 speed with some turn out of the box.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it.

I snagged one of these on a whim because I liked how it felt. K1 Line plastic feels so good and feels really shallow and small in the hand. It's a glidey understable distance driver. Easy hyzer flip disc and easy to just let it hold onto the turn and anhyzer. For somebody who is not a forhand dominant player It's nice to have a disc that I know is going to finish and move to the right everytime. It's staying in the bag for now, but might be benched as it likes to move to the right a lot. If you're in that 350ft range and are wanting to try a new distance driver I would highly recommend.

I picked up the Vass over the weekend and wow does it bomb. You can put it on Hyzer and have it stand up and push. If thrown flat, you get these huge turn over shots that go for days. It flies like a beat in (zues, destroyer) right out of the box. 10/10 would recomend to anyone looking for a great tail wind disc.
