K3 Hard Details

K3 Hard is Kastaplast's hard verison of their standard K3 plastic. It maintains excellent grip while being much stiffer than regular K3 plastic.

This is an interesting putter for sure. My first impression was that it feels very similar to the Thought Space Alter, but the Tuff has a less rounded and more blunt feel. It is quite low profile too, definitely making it a 3 speed. For comparison my favorite putter currently is the Discmania P2X and that is a bit higher profile. As far as putting with it, I was impressed! Very comfortable in the hand, and it feels pretty point and shoot, which gave me plenty of confidence and great results. It has enough speed to putt long range easily, but not too much glide, making it drop gently. My only issue is that being a faster putter, it can fade out a bit hard on loftier, slower putts, but overall my favorite Kastaplast putter yet!

I really like the Tuff as a stable-overstable throwing putter. It feels slightly deeper than either the Reko or Reko X, and works just as well as a putting putt as those other two.

I think that the Tuff is going to fill the slot that people had hoped the Reko X would fill.
