The Kastaplast Rask is a "faster disc." This very overstable driver has a unique inner ridge on the bottom flight plate that is designed to reduce drag. This bump is located a fingers width away from the inner rim.

Kastaplast gives the Rask a speed rating of 14. This is a disc that power throwers can put everything into without it turning over.

I've got both the k1 glow and not glow and love them both. love it for those huge hyzerbomb shots. feels very comfortable in the hand bc of the double rim. feels similar to a firebird but flies much faster. on a full flat shot, it will flip just enough to get some distance out of it.

For the purpose of being an overstable, headwind driving, meathook, I couldn't be happier with this mold.

Plastic: The feel on Kastaplast Glow plastic is superb. It is noticeably more grippy than almost any plastic I have felt before. I've found that this grippy plastic helps me with my grip adjustment for the abnormal flight plate. As others have mentioned, the glow quality of Kastaplast is #1.

Flight: The flight of this disc is almost a constant fade as soon as the disc is released from your hand. You are able to get a full sweeping S-curve when thrown on a severe anhyzer, a flat to steep hyzer when thrown flat, and a beautiful spike hyzer when thrown on hyzer. When throwing a grenade, or a vertical shot, the disc drops down on a knife-edge, and this can be useful when getting out of trouble or around and above trees.

Disc shape: The noteworthy thing about this disc is obviously the second rim on the underside of the disc. For backhand, I find that I can't get a full power grip on the disc, but the grippy plastic allows me to get a good hold onto it. For forehands, I find the second rim is comfortable for my second finger to rest on.

Obviously this disc isn't needed by everyone, and beginners should wait on this one, but it does offer excellent utility. For gusting headwinds, I can trust this disc never to flip.I use this for almost all huge spike hyzer shots that need to dig. Alternatively, this disc is also great at huge flare skips. This disc helps me cover so many shots, I don't imagine it will ever leave my bag.

I lost my Ape and needed a high speed meat hook. I took a chance on the Rask and this disc did not disappoint. It takes some practice to get used to it on account of it being so unique, but it holds a very specific and useful spot in my bag. Slightly more glide than a 3 and I would give it a 4 if you can match around the 14 speed required. Considering it is the most overstable disc I can imagine, I would rate the fade as a 5 instead of a 4. This is a disc that will always fade hard and fight out of as much anhyzer torque as you can apply to it. Not great for low ceiling finesse shots, but for fighting a headwind or hooking around trees and obstacles, this disc will do the job reliably. A great utility disc that is forgiving even if you go full on Randy Johnson and forehand this thing with everything you have. Spike hyzers and powerful anny tosses are what this thing was built for. The K1 plastic is extremely durable and gummier than Innova's Champion which makes it more useful in cold or wet conditions. The K1 Glow truly is the best glow plastic on the market.
