The Kastaplast Nord enhances the Kastaplast midrange selection with its robust overstable qualities. More overstable than both the Gote and the Svea, the Nord excels in resisting wind, reliably fading under any conditions. With a perfectly balanced overstability, it's practical for players seeking a midrange disc that predictably holds its line and finishes strong.

The Nord is a nice OS midrange.  The profile of the disc certainly looks very overstable, with a squared-off rim and a small bead or lip running along the underside of the rim.  It is a little funky looking but feels fine in the hand.  My Nord has a little bit of dome which I like in a midrange.  I would say the flight numbers are pretty accurate, it may even have a little more glide than the listed number of 4.  I can get pretty good distance out of this disc and it cuts through the air well.  It has a strong fade but this is not a utility overstable disc, if thrown on a ton of anhyzer it will hold the line.  I find it useful for mild controlled flex shots since the Nord will fight out of the flex and hook up at the end of its flight.  This disc is basically a stable torque-resistant mid that gets reasonable distance.  It feels good for forehand throws as long you don't torque it over too much.  The K1 plastic feels great.
