Got this disc in K1 plastic, and it didn't take long after my first throw for it to become me one  of my favorites. For me, it flies very straight, with just the slightest fade at the end, not unlike the Mako3. The feel of the plastic is so silky and has excellent grip, while being firm. It has a bit much of a dome, but feels good in the hand.

Excellent plastic. Excellent mold. 

Definitely less stable than the flight number suggests. Very easy to throw with reasonable glide. 

So I didn't personally love this disc just because how deep and domey it is. However, my buddy throws the snot outta these things and makes me wish I liked the hand feel every time I play with him. So 5* for me just because I know how it CAN work if you like how it feels. 

I got this disk in glow k1 plastic, the glow is insane, and i would like to point out that if you havent yet, you should check out a glow kastaplast.

this disc is a little finicky, id almost say it leans towards being a pretty good beginner disc, as at lower speeds it can be easily controlled, especially in aproach and even putting.

more experienced players may find this disk frustratingly over-stable to be a good midrange, or too floaty for putting. 

The Göte is a solid straight flying midrange. While it requires being thrown with finesse, it offers a great flight.

Feel: The feel of this disc in your hand is a bit strange for a midrange. Being a speed 4, it definitely feels closer to a putter than to a conventional midrange. It is much taller, as if the disc has been stretched upward. Being so tall and having some dome to it, it can feel strange finding a comfortable grip. That being said, the shape of the disc is a good reminder to be gentle and power down.

Plastic: Kastaplast produces some of the highest quality plastic, both in appearance and in feel. The K1 plastic is very grippy and pretty durable as well. Brand new, these are some of the prettiest discs on the market.

Flight: The Göte has a dead straight flight when released properly. With too much power, it can turn throughout the entire flight, but when powered down and released flat or on a slight hyzer, this thing will glide straight for days with almost no fade. Unfortunately, this disc is heavily affected by wind, so in any winds higher than 5-10mph this disc stays in the bag.

For straight flying midranges, I reach for this or a DX Roc. Both produce very straight flights without fade. The Göte requires less power for a straight flight, but the Roc can maintain its straight flight better with power and in wind.

Interesting disc for Kastaplast.  Kastaplast throwers have been clamoring for a Mid and I was certainly excited to try this disc.  It feels great in the hand and flies straight like a Mako3 or Buzzz.  Why 4 stars?  Well, I think it was an interesting choice by Kastaplats to make this a slightly slower disc with speed 4.  It's very noticeable when thrown back to back with standard 5 speed mids.  It flies much slower.  Not a mid that could be workable for all throws for me.  Doesn't have the distance for me.  I would be selective on the courses where I took this disc.

It's basically a glidy putter.  I use this for tunnel shots and it just goes straight.  I prefer this to the Truth, or the Buzzz personally.

I really enjoyed the Gote today out the course. It the hand it feels a little domey, a little big to fill my hand. The plastic feels great and sticky like most Kastaplast plastic.

When thrown, it goes dead straight with a touch of fade at the end. When thrown with too much power it definitely flips over a little bit, but I feel like if you power down a hair, it's a point and shoot disc. Once I was throwing with half power, it held any line I wanted for about 200-250 feet. I even hyzered it across a 200 foot ravine and it held the hyzer the whole way. 

This disc reminds me of the flight of an ultrastar ultimate disc, throw it with good controlled power and it'll hold the line you put it on. I think it's a great disc for upshots of any kind, and I feel like newer disc golfers or slower arms will find it to be a great straight to stable mid for them.

I never had a straight shot till I got a GOTE.  Pretty much agree with all the reviews and can only really add a thumbs up.  Everyone deserves a GOTE and I wish I had it in my bag earlier in my game development.

The Gote is definitely a finesse disc for low-speed approach shots. I would say that it really has no fade at all, or is slightly to the understable side of the spectrum. I tend to throw my mid-range discs with a little more power than I should, so I typically favor more overstable discs that can handle torque. So it took me a while to get control of the Gote because I kept overpowering it with my backhand release. But once I learned to be gentle, it felt quite a bit like my old friend, the Comet. I even tried some longer putts with it and it handled nicely as a low profile, beaded, glidey putter.

While it might not be ideal for power throwers, I'd highly recommend this disc for beginners who don't throw with a lot of speed and need a disc that is easy to throw straight. Plus, Kastaplast plastic always has great grip and a soft, tacky texture that makes them unique.

So I love my Comet, I currently throw an M.Johansen ESP for which I have had numerous Ace's, chain outs and basket hits with. Just love it.
That being said, the first time I threw the Kastaplast Göte First Run, it instantly reminded me of the Comet because of the glide potential, but it had a decent amount of turn over resistance for which the Comet doesn't have. My throw also landed right under the basket!  A 280 ft tunnel shot.
Now after spending some time with the Göte I've come to understand the versatility of this disc. Power down (50-70%) nice and flat (RHBH) this thing is a lazer beam, maybe 5ft. of fade at the end.
This disc basically holds any line you put it on, anhyzer, hyzer, when putting max arm speed into it and hyzer-flip, this disc will flip to flat, turn 10-15 and come fading back about 5 ft. I've maxed at 380 with a slight tail wind.
As far as the feel of the plastic, Kastaplast K1 plastic is simply superior to any other plastic out there.

I play at a very wooded course that has some short, narrow, tunnel holes that you need something that can hold a very straight line and not fade out much at the end. This disc has been the perfect disc for exactly that kind of shot. It's very similar in flight to the Mako3, but is a touch more stable.

If you want a very very straight mid, that barely turns and barely fades, then you can't go wrong with this disc. It does have a little more dome than I prefer, but it still feels good in the hand. 

The Kastaplast Gote is somewhere inbetween a discraft comet and a westside warship in terms of both flight and feel.  I don't have a fast throw, max out at about 280 with a clean throw and this disc is perfect for that distance.  For me, a full powered throw with this disc will hold the angle of release until about 90% through the flight, then it will drop about 10feet to the left.  So far my favorite shots with this are long floaty anhyzers and dead straight laser beams.  Of course, this plastic is the best on the market so the feel of this disc is incredible.
