The Kastaplast Gadd is a midrange designed for straight, controlled flights with a dependable finish. It holds its line well through wooded fairways and remains predictable in open spaces, giving players confidence when accuracy is critical.

The Gadd offers a neutral flight with just enough fade at the end to provide reliable control. It also handles moderate wind well, making it a versatile option for approach shots, tunnel lines, and precision midrange drives. Gadd means "Sting" in Swedish.

Preface to all my Kastaplast Reviews: I am a sucker for K1 plastic, yes, I am biased here.

It's a 5/5/0/2 mid, so no matter how well this disc performs in this slot, it's not exactly a re-invention of the wheel, that said: Thank you, Kastaplast, for releasing a "True Neutral" mid. Kastaplast's midrange lineup was... odd, prior to this disc's release. They were missing a classic 5 speed that is meant to be a true point-and-shoot. Well, enter the Gadd. It's actually a little less overstable than the 2 fade might have you believe.

It's JUST overstable enough to never turn, unless you absolutely blast it, but I don't tend to notice any strong finish either - and that's a good thing. It's nice to have a mid that you can simply throw directly at your target, and know that you're going to watch the disc never leave that line.

Normally I try to leave my disclaimer to clarify that I think K1 is the biggest selling point of any Kastaplast mold, but I do want to say: If you love a true-neutral midrange in the bag, a true neutral mid in K1 is likely going to be the pinnacle of that experience.
