The Mercury is a pretty decent disc within like 200 feet or so, but if you try to give it much more than that, it tends to flip over a bit. It's pretty bad in the wind, even at higher weights. It does fly really straight for those more controlled shots on a calmer day, and doesn't feel too shabby for backhands. It's a little too deep to feel comfortable on a forehand. I wouldn't ever really go to throw this and feel confident I knew what it was going to do. I can see it having some use given the right conditions, but I wouldn't ever reach for it or put it in my bag personally.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it.

This is a review of the Mercury as a throwing/driving putter in the premium Silver blend. When I picked this disc up at first I was a little skeptical, but excited to try a new company. This disc really surprised me and reminded me of a beat-in Watt with a little less glide, or a slower Luna. This is a slow putter, dead straight, and fairly torque-resistant. With a couple degrees of hyzer it would flip up to flat and have virtually no finish. Flat it would plod its way to the right and finish right. Turnovers and sky annys were where this disc really shined and got it to 4-stars. I know that this disc will hold and isn't going to finish when I needed it to hold the line given. Give it some height and it'll make it to that 250-275' mark and take it's time getting there. If you're looking for an InnerCore, Watt, or Luna flight, but wanna be a little more unique I would highly recommend this disc to anybody willing to give it shot.
