The Star Rollo blends grip and durability, giving players a comfortable feel for backhand turnovers and touchy shots. Still very understable, this version balances ease of flip with more consistency than DX.

This disc is very understable!   Turns easily and very easy to turn into a roller.  Fun to throw.  Tons of glide.  Very beginner friendly disc.  Good disc for beginners to practice hyzer flips with.

The Rollo is such a cool disc!!! I absolutely love throwing it soft on a huge hyzer and watching it fight out of the hyzer into a long, glidey turnover shot. You can throw some really cool shot shapes with it! Needless to say, it's great for learning to throw rollers, but it has also been the perfect disc for my wife to learn on because it will fly very straight for someone with a low armspeed. Now that her form and armspeed have improved, she can actually get it to roll!

This disc just behaves how you think it should. It is not a straight roller, but it does roll with a very predictable hook that is very easy to learn and manipulate with a bit of practice. Also quite handy for turnovers and hyzer flips. I actually have rolled this this disc further than any other roller or air flyer at 430ft on a crazy forehand flick roller.

In star with a super weak flick I can get this disc to pop up and ride dead straight further than any disc in my bag. This disc is so much fun once you learn the angles. I've never even rolled this disc, pure air shots and it's beautiful. Need to go left on a flick rhfh, grab the Rollo and flick it hard and flat and watch it take off to the left on a beautiful gliding arc. Add some hyzer and you can control the turn with ease. If you're a new player this is a disc you must try.

I really like the rim on this disc. It's more of a fairway rim. Also, this disc is way shallower than any other mid I've ever thrown. It's honestly just a wide diameter fairway driver. I would call the numbers 6 6 -4 1. It's way faster than a regular 5 speed mid.

Has to be the flippiest disc I have ever thrown! Obviously intended for easy roller shots. It is SUPER glidey and you can get some really cool turnover lines when thrown high and on a good hyzer. Sometimes those lines can be used in place of a forehand shot, but it's a little too touchy to do that with consistency.

Beginners can probably get a lot of instant extra distance out of this compared to most discs they've tried.

This disc is sooooo flippy that I cannot say it is beginner friendly. One must release it nose up and on hyzer and it will still turn to the right. It is the opposite of a Tilt and is a great utility disc. Great for woods and sharp turn over shots. I wouldn't throw rollers with it as it just curls in on itself.

    Super fun disc!!!

This is a great disc for a brand new player or child. For more experienced players it will effortlessly turn over no matter the angle it's on.

The usefulness of this disc really shines through with roller shots. The disc is designed to roll forward! You can start it on a steep hyzer and get 150 feet of flight before it lands on the edge and will roll another 200 feet. The Rollo can come down on cut angle, stand up, and roll until it's upside down.

Long story short it's entertaining and makes me want to find a roller line for every hole I play.

Really fun disc for me, fun to throw rollers with.  Useful for scramble shots as well.

I love it! Just as advertised! Put a little anny on it and throw. There's your roller, and look at that thing go! Throw it flat, it'll turn and turn with just a hint of a fade as it slowly drops to the ground. This thing is a hyzer flip machine, and the glide is incredible! I get distances close to driver range with it. I have to say that this disc is VERY VERSATILE. I played a 1-disc round with it and was able to pull off some shots I really didn't think possible, and I had great fun. Great disc for scrambling, finesse shots, long putts, the Rollo does it all!

I picked this up expecting an extra flippy roller disc. Nope. It turns, and turns hard, but it doesn't dump over. 168g in star plastic. Maybe if I beat it in perhaps?

For comparison, it flips about the same as a discraft glide for me. Similar ish but not as long distance as a L64 Fury, more turn than a discraft heat. Heck I've got a beat in 164g Destroyer that flips almost the same as this.

So yeah, no automagic rollers right ouf othe bag throwing this puppy.

Very fun disc, it's so unbelievably understable that it enables some really wacky shapes. I love mine and don't see myself taking it out of my bag but it is similar to a Zone OS where you won't throw it super often but when you want it you're glad to have it.

The Rollo is an incredibly fun disc!  It has a flat top and a beveled edge that is more like a fairway driver than a mid, but has a large diameter.  The flight of this disc is something very unique out of the box.  It is very understable and is very easy to use as a roller (it lives up to its namesake) but also has some crazy glide for finesse shots.  Beginners may find the Rollo useful for a driver and learning how to hyzer-flip a disc.  Intermediate and advanced players will absolutely utilize it as a roller.  Backhand and flick rollers are so easy and the disc just knows what to do.  The weight in the rim kind of works like four wheel drive, which helps keep the line when throwing a roller on uneven ground.  Playing mostly mountain courses, I never gave much thought to the value of roller shots.  Now that I've played a couple rounds with a Rollo, I realize a gap in my game.  This disc may not be for everybody, but everybody will have fun throwing it!  Innova hit a home run with the Rollo!

Well, my first throw went about 325' without rolling. Threw it flat and it just turned and turned without burning down to roll. My second throw, decided to forhand on an extreme anhyzer. Too much, flipped all the way around and didn't roll. About a 100' thud. Finally got the hang of it, but it tends to stay in the air way longer than I want. Skill issue. Did get some 350-400' rolls out of it within a few throws.

This disc IS easier to roll that some of my other discs I have dedicated to rolling (Roadrunner and Scavenger), but isn't necessarily a given.

I have a single hole on my home course I always roll and the occasional Scramble shot. So, not the most experienced in that. This dosc currently won't be used on that hole as I can't get it down quick enough. I hope with time I can manage it.

The feel is great. Comfortable. I also like star plastic. Feels like a fairway driver.

Feel: The Rollo feels like a fairway/mid-range hybrid. It is shallow like a driver but the diameter is as large as a mid-range.

Flight: I can throw upwards of 400ft at ~4500ft elevation. The Rollo, when thrown flat and hard, flipped immediately out of the hand and could roll very easily. When released on hyzer, I got a decent amount of distance before it turned into a cut roller. When I tried to intentionally roll it, the Rollo was incredibly easy to roll. My wife, who can't usually throw hard enought to throw a roller, was also able to roll it quite far after a few tries.

Final Thoughts: The Rollo does exactly what you would expect, it rolls. The feel is comfortable to my hand and the Star plastic is the best premium plastic in the sport.

Very fun disc! Similar hand feel to a wombat 3 but much shallower and more rounded edge for the bead. I throw a dx 175g destroyer max 424, I can't throw this disc with enough hyzer to keep it from flipping. At about half power it flips up and fades right about 15 feet and just goes and goes. If you're struggling to throw past 300, this might be your perfect easy flip up midrange or your easy roller disc (hence, rollo). Mine is a pre release at 180g. Very fun disc!
