Is this the most underated Innova mid of all time? Just like Minister David said it is a very straight flying disc, it flies very similar to my MD1 Mindbender but just a wee bit more overstable. If you put it on a slight Hyzer then it will pop up and act like a MD3 and if you throw it flat it acts like a MD1. Was domey and felt wierd at first but is a staple in my bag now!

I really didn't like this disc. However it was several years ago when I bought it and Innova has changed plastic blends many times over. It was very hard and slick. Very plastic feeling. The flight was ok. The feel was not good either for me, too deep and chunky. I lost it and didn't care.

It may work for you, but wasn't for me.

The description of the Lycan is dead on.

I picked up this disc because I hadn't seen or heard of it before, I love my Mako3 and the flight ratings are almost identical. Since they're so similar, I was hoping I might have slightly better results than I do with the Mako3.

After throwing it a few times, I have to admit that I can't tell the difference between the two. They feel and fly so much like eachother that were they not different colors, I wouldn't know which one I threw.

I would recommend this disc if you want a super straight flying midrange but not if you already have a Mako3.

I purchased 2 of the LYCAN discs just because I got a good deal on them, they were new and both weigh 175 grams. The mako used to be my go to midrange and I feel that the LYCAN is similar to the mako. The LYCAN feels somewhat bulky in my hand but it glides very well and it will let you put some power into it without turning over too much. I really like it but now I throw a lat 64 core when I need a midrange. If you are looking for a new mid range disc give the LYCAN a try it might just be the next disc in your bag.

I have a Star Lycan. Love the feel of it. Great accurate flying midrange.
