The King Cobra is a slightly overstable midrange designed to fly straight for power players. This disc is almost identical to the Cobra, but won’t turn like the regular Cobra. It has a great feel that leads to confident, accurate throws.

There are a decent amount of Innova midranges that most people don't use or even know about and the King Cobra is definitely one of those discs. Very rarely have those discs steered me wrong. But it should be used by so many more people. For me it is kind of an oddly-shaped disc as it's like a domier Roc3 but it's not uncomfortable. It has a really easy release and super smooth flight and I think many people could get behind that. It's a pretty straight flier without too much fade. Another reviewer mentioned that it flies like a beat-in Roc3 and I agree with that. It flies the way you want a seasoned disc to, without the actual seasoning. But it glides super well also. It's a hard disc to come by but pick one up if you can.

This midrange from innova serves two purposes well: 1)Backhand driver from 250ft in(max power/advanced player) 2)forehand drive or approach -200ft (ideally 100 to 150). I mainly use it for purpose 2, as a fh dominant player. It cannot be flexed in tight lines! This is a great fh straight or hyzer flip to flat disc on wooded courses, but it's not got the torque resistance of a harp(I consider midrange functional) drone, or anvil. It will fly farther and fade less! Great for someone with a finesse forehand and or a powerful backhand for a left turning hyzer par 3. My only comment is the bead was quite sharp, needed to be sanded down a bit for forehand use. Great disc for those who like to flick midranges instead of fairways to ensure it doesn't glide too far, and good form check for those who tend to release their forehands on an anny unintentionally.

This is an incredibly reliable disc.  Like all discs in champion plastic, this disc takes a little time to properly break in.  Once you get to that sweet spot, you will fall in love with this one!  This disc excels off the tee and holds its own with the wind.  This disc also has a reliable skip which can be used to get closer to the basket if you play it right.  The skip shot is lethal and is by far my favorite aspect of the King Cobra.  This disc is just like a great pair of jeans in that it becomes your favorite once you break it in!

This was my favorite disc before I lost it. It's really glidey and super straight (only slightly overstable in my opinion). As an intermediate player I was able to get this as far as my buzzz (about 320-330 feet). Highly recommend to players of all skill levels.

These guys are so underrated. I got a glow champ one and it just goes so far and floaty.  If you have just a bit of power, just pop it out on a slight hyzer and watch it go. They are one of the longer mids out there, and if they were more common you would probably see it in far more bags.

I think these get a knock because of all the DX flippy Walmart Cobras that people have tried, but this is a different and much better animal.

The King Cobra is a very nice mid range disc. I would compare it to a slightly beat in Roc with a lower profile. If you like less dome on your disc, this will be a disc that feels good in hand. The champion plastic is nice, grippy, and durable. This should allow the disc to remain in its sweet spot for some time. This disc does have a bit more stability then a regular Cobra, but they compliment each other well. If you want a disc that can do Roc like things, albeit slightly less stable, this would be a good disc to give a try.

A very straight flying and reliable midrange. If you don't like the feel of the Roc, try a King Cobra. It is also a great disc for throwing straight, accurate side arm shots that you don't need to go a very long distance. This is my go-to disc for tunnel shots

I love this disc! I live in North Carolina, so I am entrapped by what seems like an endless supply of long, and narrow fairways. This is my go to disc if i need a strong straight line with a little fade to the left at the end. Like most discs, the higher this disc is, the bigger the fade. My Champion King Cobra has maybe 30 rounds in it, and still has outlasted two Dx Sharks. This disc is heavy enough to not be too pushed by wind, but throwing a hyzer or anhyzer with wind isnt a good idea. The size of the disc really gets influenced by wind. I recommend this disc to advanced beginners. To the people who know how to throw a disc and need something that will fly straight no matter how hard you unleash it. Good Luck!

I recommend this disc to anyone who is looking for a midrange that is consistent. It has a better (more comfortable) rim for the mid-range grade, and the flight itself is impressive. I would add that it is good for both short and long approaches, because it holds it's line so well.

To me, this is more like a shark but in Champion plastic. It will hold lines and is a good disc. But this disc is just a tweener. It too in between so many other discs that you don't "need" this disc in your bag. Unless you're looking for a cheap Champion Shark or a disc between a Roc and Buzz.
