Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

All Innova Aviar are great and this blend of plastic between the KC and JK is great.   The only bad thing was the disc I received had a little of a puddle top to it and why I gave it a 4 stars.

I adore this putter. The puddle top is very nice feeling and great if you have shorter fingers and rim has a perfect sized bead as far as beaded rims go. If you have trouble pushing into the bottom of the disc with your fingers in push putting (or hybrid spin/push putting) then try this disc. Out of the box they are relatively neutral flying with a touch of stability that will be evident when putting as it will hyzer out a touch more than a standard aviar. I currently bag a beat in yeti for throwing, and use it as my straight putter that flips slowly through to the end. Beaded putters always retain their stability longer than non-beaded. would be 5/5 but the severity of the puddle top will alter over time and cause inconsistancies with putting release as it beats in.

I've putted and thrown this disc for years. Putting is all about feel and consistancy, the puddle top lends it self to a low profile feel and it is stable enough, even beat in, to be relyable putting. Where this disc is a surprise is off the tee. You can pretty much give it full power and it wont turn and burn, but with a baby hyzer it will flip up ride strait and then like magic in the last 30% of the flight it will just drift ever so gently right and finish flat, the more you spin it the more right it goes - it's beautiful. (right hand back hand).

The yeti pro aviar is my favorite putting putter in Innova's line up. I do like beaded putters and I know they are not for everyone but I do really enjoy mine. I putt mainly with judges but if I was going to switch to all Innova yeti pro aviars would be my choice. They putt straight and have decent glide. Not the best glide I've seen on putters but very workable. They feel pretty good in the hand and overall it is a good disc.

I'd been putting with the P Model S for a while and found an unmarked Yeti Pro Aviar. I didn't have any real issue with the P Model S until it started to get cold and I lost some confidence in my grip on it.

Stock Aviars feel too deep for me for putting, but the Yeti was just about right. I have big square hands with short fingers and like thumb tracks and beads, so this disc felt pretty good. The plastic was still fairly grippy in the cold. All together it was a disc I felt like I could get a good handle on even if my hands were a little dry and numb and the overall ergonomics were satisfying.

After just a couple rounds trying them out I switched to the Yeti as my primary putter due to the increased confidence in handfeel and promptly picked up a fresh one.

It also does a fine job off the tee. As straight as advertised with a bit of torque resistance and it is very responsive to touch. If you like the sound of all that I'd say check it out.

Very happy I encountered this one!

I found this disc to be very consistent and easier to grip than an Aviar. With that being said I have medium to large hands and felt trying the Animal, another Innova putter and found they both have the same grip except the Aviar has a small not noticeable bead on the line. With that being said the Pro Aviar has more glide and tends to hyzer quicker on putts longer than 10-15 feet. The Animal is a point and shoot hard disc and it goes straight for longer. Both are great discs.

I love the Yeti for a lot of the same reasons as others, mainly the feel of the puddle top and plastic. I tried all the putters and nothing felt as good and was consistent as a Yeti Pro. Over the last couple of years it has also become my primary approach disc and use it for everything inside of 175ft that isn't a forehand. It will hold and pan on an anhyzer beautifully while still being stable enough to hold a strong hyzer for a full swing approach. It will also drive dead strait at 6ft high for 150-200ft. I cycle them in, new ones are for circle one and windy putts or hyzer approaches, the older ones I use for longer/anhyzer putts and late turn drives.

After a year of playing and trying different putters, the Yeti instantly became my go-to putting putter and most open short approaches. The puddle-top design feels great in the hand and I like the slight tackiness of the pro plastic.

Best putting putter of all time bar none. The feel and depth of the putter is perfect (thinner than a standard Big Bead Aviar but still with the bead). It is sort of concave on top and thus allows my thumb to rest perfectly on top of the disc. The glide is pretty neutral. For a spin putter the glide might be more evident than like a PA3 or something, but it is not as glidey as a DX Aviar or Nova or something like that. It is a super straight putter that will hold up to all sorts of spin whether putting or throwing. When thrown for a long time this beats in to be the best turnover controlable upshot disc ever as well. I can't say enough good things about this disc. It is the best Aviar mold and putter mold and I feel confident that as long as I am not sponsored this will always be my putter of choice.

I've finally found my Goldilocks putter. After bouncing between different putter molds for several years, I've been putting with these all season and they are money. For reference I've gone from Polecats (first putter) to Wizards to Colts to JK Aviar to Judges to Soft Magnets and have finally settled on the Yeti Pros. Don't see myself switching. My C1 % has gone up. My C2 % has gone up. Love the feel and confidence I get from these. My putting style is kind of a pitch putt. It's not exactly a push as I'm definitely getting some spin. This putter is perfect for that. The puddle top is great for getting some leverage and I like to rest my index finger on the bead. These are just in the sweet spot with glide - some but not too much. The Soft Magnets I was using for a while had too little - I would miss low and had to really muscle it from circle 2 which wrecked my form. The Colts had too much - I would miss high too often and sail it over the top. These are just right. Enough glide to get it there from circle 2 but not too much where I'm accidentally airing it over in circle 1.

There are a few things about the Yeti that sets it apart from other Aviar iterations. One is the feel. The feel of this plastic is one of my favorite things about it. It's still fairly hard, it's not floppy like some putters, but not as rigid as DX or KC pro or other base blends. It's got a nice tackiness to it that's really easy to grip. It's like if XT and DX had a baby. Though it technically has the same height and depth dimensions as the Classic grid Aviar, it's thinner and the puddle top makes it feel less bulky and slightly lower profile in the hand. That's one reason I preferred it over the JK for example. It also has a bead, which I like in a putter as I think it helps my release. Another is the flight. The JK and KC Pro Aviars, two other popular Aviar models, will fade a little harder than the Yeti. With only a 1 fade, this thing is pretty straight. I'm very much a point and shoot kind of putter, so this was preferable for me. I also think these lose fade fairly quickly as they beat in to be pretty straight fliers.

I mainly use this as my putting putter, but I've been experimenting with throwing it off the tee and so far I like it. Goes pretty much dead straight. If you're a mold minimalist, you could definitely get away with using this as a thrower and a putter. Just a phenomenal disc overall. If you've haven't found your go to putter yet, or are a new player looking for your first putter, give the Yeti a try.

I enjoy the high grip feel of this plastic. It is really straight and matches a straight shooting putting style. It beats in fairly quick so I'd avoid throwing it off the tee or it turns into a highly textured puddle top potato chip. It is predictable in a headwind and holds decently straight. Holds an anhy line fairly well.

The Aviar Yeti is my primary putting putter. This was the second beaded putter I have tried, and as soon as I held it, I knew it had to be my putter. I generally like firmer putters. The Yeti-Pro plastic has all the grip and tackiness of a softer putter while still having a firm feel in the hand. It also holds up well to rain and mud. The puddle top gives it a unique feel compared to any other putter I have tried, and it fits my thumb perfectly. I don’t use it for upshots much, but the plastic is grippy enough that it will stick to the ground without getting too crazy. I find that when thrown it will hold straight for a while before fading softly into the ground. For putts, this is the perfect putter for me. It won’t fade severely at all, but it will come out of an anhyzer putt if I need to get around something. I love it for inside circle one especially, but I have found success with jump putts as well. I can pinpoint exactly where I need this disc to go, whether on drives, upshots, or putts. If someone is switching to a beaded putter, this would be the first one I recommend.

Although I have tried others, I keep coming back to this disc as my putting putter. The disc is extremely grippy/tacky but is still quite stiff, meaning it doesn't feel floppy. The puddle top and bead feels good in the hand and this thing holds a straight line pretty well. Highly recommend as a putting putter and for beginners.

I'm a fairly positive reviewer, but this disc just was not for me. Compared to my KC Aviars and classic Aviars this thing fell like a rock. Putting with these was difficult compared to my other aviars because they dropped out of the air immediately. I didn't even want to learn how to putt with these because I was scared I'd develop a form that would mess up putting with my other putters so I traded these away. For throwing, these are actually pretty comfortable. They don't go far but I guess it could be useable as a fairly straight flying approach disc. I'd rather just throw a normal Aviar though. I am gicing this 3 stars not because I think it is average, but because I realize some people will have different preferences than I do. Personally I would rate it 1 star.

This is the first putter where I truly felt my form and putting improve. It feels very comfortable in the hand and the bead has helped with my consistency on the green. Whenever I step up to a putt this disc makes me confident that I'll strike metal anywhere in the circle. I would highly recommend this to anyone trying to improve their putts or re-invigorate their putting game.

The yeti pro aviar has a concavity on the top of the disc which gives it a lower-profile feel. It takes away some of that tall domey-ness that aviars can have, helps give me somewhat of a reference point for grip, and just feels really great in my hand. That combined with the grippy/tacky feeling and medium-stiffness (but not too stiff) plastic put this putter right in the goldilocks range for me in terms of what I'm looking for in the feel of a putter.

It holds up nice for spin putts and flies dead straight inside the circle, but does seem to have a touch less glide than some of the other aviar molds. The pro plastic really sits when it lands flat but I've had some nasty roll aways when its landed on its side... maybe from the bead.

The bead gives it some added stability and you can get some really great flights with this disc off the tee. These are money once beaten in. You can cover all of your short range needs with some cycled yetis. Great for woods golf, you can flex it, flip it, roll it, turn it over, pretty much anything. Still trying to decide between these and p&a aviars for my c1 putter but I love throwing these.

The Yeti Pro Aviar was my first disc. It definitely helped me learn to control my form and throw putters farther. It is one of the most beginner friendly discs ever. It holds a straight, true line. It is made in a stiff run of pro plastic that is firm and extra durable. I have beaten mine in perfectly so that it also flies easily in the woods. Now that I have beaten it in, I can throw it flat with a lot of power and watch it flip and then hold a beautiful anhyser. It has a pretty large bead that adds stability but still feels nice in the hand.

It is the most shallow aviar I have ever seen. The bead makes it hold stability too. That is why it is one of my favorite driving putters. The pro plastic sticks to the ground so you don't have to worry about crazy skips or rollaways. The shallow rim allows me to throw both backhand and forehand.

Speed: I would say that the speed is correct. My yeti pro aviar has a blunt rim and does not require much power to throw.

Glide: I do not think the yeti pro aviar has a 3 glide. It definitely wants to crash to the ground. I would rate it as a 2 glide.

Turn: My yeti pro is beat in so it turns but when it was new it would not flip. I would say the turn rating is accurate.

Fade: This disc used to fade pretty hard but I would still rate it at a 1 fade.

This is my putter for strictly putting and I don't think it will ever change because of how much I love the feel of this disc. I feel like putting has a ton to do with how well the disc fits your hand, from how it flies to how confident you are. Great disc for spin putting and would totally recommend if you like a disc with a sleek profile.

Yeti Aviar (175g) - Compared to the traditional Aviar I definitely prefer this mold and plastic. Honestly, it was the plastic that really drew me in. I like that grippy feel. I also like the slightly concave top because it makes a fairly deep putter feel a little more manageable. The downside for me is the big bead. I didn't really care when I started playing, but now I'm really trending more towards beadless where available. As far as I know, this concave mold and plastic is only available in this disc with the big bead so I took it out of the bag and continue to play with a Nova as my primary putter and an R-Pro Pig as a headwind/approach putter. The other downside to the Yeti plastic is that while it is fantastically grippy, it wasn't quite as firm as other putters when you play in the heat (unfortunately a reality here in North Carolina). The Yeti makes a great winter putter though and does occasionally find its way into the bag when its cold out and the Nova seems extra stiff. If you like Aviars (and I often don't compared to other putters) you will definitely like this disc. I recommend trying it either way, because the feel in hand is great and if you like the flight you'll like this one.

Out of all the variety of aviar molds innova has this is by far the only one I truly like.  This disc created for and by Yeti has a great feel to it. This mold actually as a level or degree of rubber add to the mix, this is what gives it that gripy feel that actually seems to catch chains a little better.  Granted some years or runs seem to have less or more rubber in the mix, and the ones with less seem to crack and break easier because them are much stiffer.

THE Yeti aviar also is a puddle top putter. Personally this just feels better in my hands to grip it and rip it from the pad, or even more comfortable to fan putt with as well.

Over all this putter holds a great and straight line, but does become a little less stable with time as you beat it in..

Best putter I've ever used, hands-down. The Yeti is actually the very first disc I was ever given when I was introduced to disc golf. I learned how to putt with it but then kind of moved on to other discs. I tried a lot of different putters but came back to this one after a while. And it instantly improved my putting game. The Yeti is somewhat shallow due to the concave (or puddle) top. Some of them have quite a deep puddle, but it feels great in the hand. I'm not a huge fan of beads on putters or midranges but the bead on the Yeti actually feels great. Lastly, the pro plastic is grippy but firm. Also a great throwing putter.

The Yeti is a great beaded putter that’s dead straight for putts. The 5x have a little more grip than the 4x with that feels more rubbery which give a better grip. I really like the flat/slightly concave top and the plastic does not get too floppy in the summer like a JK does. Overall great putter for beginners and advanced players

The Yeti is another variation on the aviar mold, tooled to Jay Readings requests. This is a big bead Aviar with a much shallower feel. It has a normal shoulder but the top is flat, or often concave. This makes for a comfortable feel in the hand. The flight is a little less stable then a KC or JK, but it still holds up well. It doesn't seem to glide as much as other Aviars, but this makes it easy to control distance. You can use this putter for putting or throwing, but for me it shined as an approach disc. Great disc for someone wanting a shallow Aviar.

Very unusual putter. I've seen some with major indents and others with not so noticeable indents. I prefer the ones that are indented heavily. This is what I go to when I'm over 50 feet out and I want to make sure the putter sticks to the ground and doesn't roll away. It has a lot of glide to it and since it is very soft and flexible, it sticks to the ground easily. Not my go to putter up close, but very good for safe distance jump putts.

This disc is my vote for most underrated disc I have ever thrown. I picked a couple up out of sheer curiosity from never seeing them before, and used them for putting for several months. I liked them for putting a lot because of the point and shoot consistency, but I ended up favoring the McPro aviars more because of the clean release they gave me. At that point I started throwing them when I was practicing throwing putters and fell in love with it. It feels really full in the hand which is nice because I have really big hands, and the concave top feels comfortable for my thumb, similar to the thumtracks some discs have. This disc holds straight on whatever angle I release it on all the way to the ground. Not a ton of glide so it gets up and down quickly to where I want and won't go far past the target. Yetis can handle a lot of power without turning, similar to a teebird, but it's a putter! The plastic fells really great, a soft feeling blend that is really firm at the same time!

The search for the perfect putter is never ending, but I think I've found mine after some time. I thought I didn't like beaded, especially big beaded putters until I used the Yeti. I love the hand feel of this one. Profile wise it is identical to a KC Aviar, but because it has a puddle top it feels much lower profile. It doesn't have much of a shoulder, which paired with the very blunt edge is something I really like. Plastic wise, this might be the best blend I've felt. Really tacky and soft in texture, but firm in the flight plate, like non-floppy r-pro if there was such a thing. Flight wise it is a slightly overstable putter, similar to any other one with the same numbers. The big bead gives it a little more gyro action for spin putts, giving it a little more carry. I let my friend who putts with Blend Judges and 300 Pa-3s try a yeti, and he said if he putted Innova he would hands down get a yeti, really liked it.

This putter won't be for everyone, but if you like Judges and prodigy putters you will like the yeti. Support Jay and try one out.

These Yeti Aviars are exactly what I was looking for and have quickly replaced my regular Aviars. I use the two I ordered (with the sick Infinite Disc owl stamp) strictly for Circle 1 putting only. This is a very player specific niche disc. It is designed for push putting because it has a concave center. If you're thinking that this won't have an incredible effect on the way you can throw the disc, you're crazy. This concave center forces you to push put. I've tried this thing on spin putts and it really doesn't feel right coming out of the hand and becomes very awkward. However! If you ARE a push putter, then this is your putter no doubt. It allows extremely comfortable control on push puts and has the stability that you need if you get it in higher weights. Be careful to not get this in lower weights because push puts are already very susceptible to wind push and in lighter weights this thing gets pushed around by the wind really easily.

If you like beaded putters and you want an Innova one, then this is the one for you.  It flies straight into the basket, and the slightly softer pro plastic helps it to stick in the chains.  It can also be a nice approach disc for shots that you want to stick to the ground where they land, with very little sliding.  This was my primary putter for quite a while, until I moved away from beaded putters (for personal reasons).

This has become one of the more used discs in my bag, but not for putting. The Yeti has become the most accurate upshot discs in my bag. It holds a nice hyzer all the way to the basket and is very consistent. This has also become my driving putter of choice. I can crush it out there flat and it will glide down the fairway and start a slow fade halfway down. I have parked many holes 175' - 250' with this disc.

I love this putter!  I use a 175g as my go-to putter.  I really like the confidence I feel with it.  The nearly concave flight plate and low profile rim fit my hand nicely.  It comes out like smoothly and the Pro plastic is just the right amount of grip.  Noticed a definite improvement in my success outside 15 feet.  This is the 7th putter I've tried and it's the first one I feel so confident with.  I will be replacing my approach putter soon with another Yeti.

Update: Holy stroke-saver!  I updated my approach putter to a 171g Yeti and I've made more putts outside 20 feet since I started with the Yeti than in the past 3 years.    Made a 60 footer last night!  I use the 171g for outside the circle and 175g for inside.  I can't say enough good things about this putter!

Cant say enough good things about the Yeti Pro Aviar. I purchased this disc after hearing some recomendations towards the aviar. I tried various models of aviars but i found that the Yeti pro felt best in my hand and if its good enough for a putting champion its good enough for me. Within 70 ft of the pin i pull out the aviar adn i can trust that this disc will fly to the pin and stick where it lands. The aviar grabs the chains well and feels great to push or spin put. I prefer to use this disc only to put though many people also drive with it. the concave flight plate feels good in the hand and the bead feels perfect on the finger. I can push put this disc acurately from 40ft on a good day. Im not the best putter but this disc definetly improved my short game. I reccomend this disc to anyone who has some experience with the game and practices a good putting form, if you throw this disc like the pros do it will make you feel like a pro putter.

A friend of mine sent me a box of discs that he didn't throw anymore and the YETI PRO AVIAR was one of the discs. The first time I threw it I landed a 50 footer and that is real good for me. It glides well and goes very strait for longer putts or approach shots. I used it for a while and now I have switched my go-to putter to a COLT because I like a low profile disc. When I was throwing the YETI it did everything that I needed it to do just fine. If by some chance I was forced to switch my primary putter back to the YETI, I wouldn't be dissapointed at all. This is a 5 star disc by any standards.

5 stars! And i own 5. All different weights. absolutly the best putter I have ever owned. Short putts are no problem, and it won't miss by much if it does miss. Now the longer throws up to about 215 ft for me are where it really shines. Just the most handy disc to throw one right up there with. So many easy birds on shorter holes. For me, it's better than a mid.

I've tried nearly ever putter on the market and this is one of the few that feel completely wrong to me.

My putting grip is very loose, I lightly rest my thumb on top of the right side of the disc, hold the disc completely level and gently push it towards the basket while naturally generating some spin. The problem with the Yeti Aviar is the concave top. This totally throws off my level balance and puts my thumb in a position that looses my parrallel symmetry. In addition the Yeti just doesn't glide well at all, when I do manage to keep it straight, I usually end up short of the basket.

Jay "Yeti" Redding has a very unique putting style and is one of the best putters in the world. For his style, and for many people who spin putt, the Yeti is probably a must have disc. For me and my style, this disc is just wasted plastic.
