Thought it would be a Wraith clone with a neat stamp, but can not get it to work for my arm/grip. Was 50% off so can't be too upset that it has scuff marks on the top plate from, a machine malfunction maybe? Does not fly like Wraiths I've thrown before but haven't worked it in yet so will update if changes over time.

I did field work with this along with a dozen other drivers, and for the disc I have at least, the numbers seem roughly right (you never know for sure with the X-outs) compared to its siblings the Centurion, Dynasty and Aztec, though maybe a bit more overstable than expected. The 11 speed and 3 fade will make this way too overstable for beginners, and it didn't seem to have quite a -1 Turn for me either, but in general, the Czar is a really good disc: It gives a reliable flight path, though maybe it doesn't compare quite as well against others with similar flight numbers -- which are almost the same as a Destroyer (just slower); however, my Czar fades out much sooner than my Destroyer. For my arm speed, the overstability of the Czar might make it a good choice with stiffer headwinds, but otherwise will likely take a back seat to other choices. I haven't had discs in I-blend plastic for as long as I've had some in Star- or Champion-type blends, so I can't say as definitively how durable this grade is, but so far my I-blend discs have been holding up well -- and certainly better than the base grades (thankfully I haven't been smacking them into trees and such), and it has a good, grippy feel and releases cleanly. I like the bright sky blue color of my disc as it stands out in the open grass field, and should help finding it in the rough, too (I've got some good discs in darker colors that have been harder to locate).

My disc is 163g and I can get it to flip up and turn a bit. Easily my favorite distance driver. The disc I got had a LOT of dome, so it actually flies relatively straight after flipping. I really enjoy this disc a lot, and even at a lower weight, it has enough stability to be able to handle a forehand thrown on hyzer. I like how the I-blend plastic feels as well, it feels as if it wears in a bit quicker and makes the overstable flight a bit more workable. I would recommend this disc to intermediate and advanced players looking for a good hyzer flip laser shot with a considerable finish.

I'll try to give an objective review since I think I got an odd duck. Overall, this is a really fun mold to throw. The blunt nose feels really good in my hand, and since I already throw Wraiths it feels very familiar. I got a pop-top I-blend and boy does this disc have glide!

I did get a very understable one, though. The one I got flies closer to 11/6/-2 or -3/1 since it flipped over slowly and rode to the right (RHBH). Only once when I gave it a lot of air and hung it out wide did it fight back (and the LSS was great becasue of the blunt nose), but most of the time, it was more US than expected.

Still giving it 4 stars since it's a really great feeling and flying disc. Just not exactly what the numbers suggest. It'll still make the bag, though!
