    I just picked up a 175g R-Blend X-Out.  I live above 5000' elevation in Wyoming.

I have only played a few rounds with this disc so far but it has already earned a spot in the bag.  It has great versatility.  I have only used this for throwing, I have not tried putting with it yet.  This disc will flip to flat when thrown on hyzer and glide for miles and have a nice soft landing.  It will hold an anhyzer almost all the way to the ground and only coming out if I get the nose up too much.  When thrown flat, I get a small amount of turn with an almost dead straight finish. Very controllable approach disc.

As for the feel, its a fairly shallow, bead-less rim.  It feels comfortable both back hand and forehand (granted I haven't actually thrown it forehand yet) but at least the grip feels good!  The plastic is fairly soft and grippy, it likes to sit once it hits the ground.  This plastic is ideal if you like to cycle discs for consistent feel with varying flight paths.

I would not recommend this disc for heavy winds or head winds. The low speed, easy to grip profile, and glide make this a solid disc for beginners and juniors alike. Its a great disc to help teach angle control.

I liked this disc right from the start. After I have used it for a couple months, I love it. I carry in the R and D blend. It is likely my favorite disc, and it is what I use for one disc only rounds. I can pump this disc out to about 300ft on a hyzer-flip shot, trust it on hyzer or flat approach shots, and is a great putter. I enjoy the shallow rim, it is similarly shallow to the Tomb.

It can be thrown for all lines. When released flat with power, it will ride to the right, but flex out flat at the end of it's flight. At full power, when released on hyzer, it will flip up to flat and gliiiiiide straight, with some slight turn if anything. At medium, or low power, for approach type shots, it will hold whatever angle you give it, forehand or backhand: hyzer, anny, flat.

I find the R Blend to be a touch more overstable than the D Blend. The R Blend also beats and warps much easier. There are some decent chinks and warping happening to mine, it has even been run over by a tractor, but it flies great still.

I prefer the R Blend for drives and approaches and for putting. I hope to get my hands on the G Blend soon! It was personally recommended by touring pro Allison Haggett when we conversed about how much we enjoy the Cohort!

Edit: I have now afdded the G Blend. It is awesome, but not as awesome as the R Blend. Please make more R Blends Infinite!!

This is my exclusive putter. I use the softer R-blend for putting and the harder G-Blend for approaching and driving.

The R-blend feels really good in your hand if you like softer putters and really grabs those chains and hangs in there. They beat in fairly quickly, similar to jawbreaker plastics, and a broken in R- blend has a nice understable finish to it, really allowing the same mold to fit a variety of uses.

The G blend (173g) flies well off the tee but I mostly use it for approaches and off the tee <220ft). It will hold a hyzer angle and if put on an anhyzer angle, it will hold that angle for a period of time before eventually flattening out and fading. I found that I really have to commit to an anhyzer line in order to get it to stay that way.

This disc was new to me through VIP club. I wasn't too sure when I first grabbed it. I decided to try it at my local wooded course. Man am I glad. The d line is nice but the R Blend is money. It glides so far. Youd swear it floats a bit and holds any line. Just when you think its out of steam it seems to get another 10ft or so.

This is my second review of this disc. I just ordered another one in R plastic, just to have a new color...and I'll eagerly buy more, if any new plastics (or colors) come out.

I recently entered a two-disc challenge, on a fairly technical short-course, and after much deliberation...I chose the Cohort and a Ruin. I've been slinging plastic for well-under a year, and am admittedly lacking in any real skill yet. I scored a +3 on the round, and actually led my card on the front 9 (before "MY" game caught up to me...lol). These two discs performed spectacularly,  against a fairly seasoned card throwing mids and drivers. I held my own due to the Cohort (and Ruin... respectively). P

Please, Infinite, give is a something new in this mold? The recent limited run of Ruins was amazing! Indeed, the Cohort is something special. . .it deserves a special run of it's own.

I'm a huge fan of shallow putters for throwing, and Infinite has 3 (so far!) excellent choices for shallow throwing putters. The Tomb (straight), Ruin (overstable), and the Cohort (straight). The biggest difference between a Cohort and a Tomb in my experience is that the Cohort is beadless, but the Tomb is beaded. I have thrown the Cohort in R-Blend plastic which is just like the standard R-Pro plastic from Innova. It's nice and grippy and absorbs the force when it smacks trees.

I find that the Cohort flies straight, but I wouldn't say that it's flippy (out of the box). I have ripped on mine fairly hard and it just flies dead straight and has a soft finish. I'm not going to throw it into a headwind or anything, but it can definitely hold up to some juice. Although I imagine that it will beat up fairly quickly from just a few tree hits in the R blend.

The Cohort feels great for approach shots, including touch forehand shots.

The Cohort has been a total game changer for me. It's an incredible approach disc, but lately it's been working like magic around the greens. For putting, it seems to just float into the chains. It's low-speed glide often amazes me. For me, it's taken a lot of the work out of covering distance on long putts...and I rarely feel a need to jump putt with it.

I have been using the Cohort since it released as both a throwing putter and a putting putter.

Feel in the hand is flat, thin, and beadless. very similar to a tomb (which is what I used to putt with mainly).

faster speed disc, but feels very much like a putter and works great around the green.

It is an amazing disc for throwing, I aced hole 6 at AUM with it on a beautiful hyzerflip/turn over shot. The hole is 220ft, plays heavily up hill and has a very guarded green. This is exactly what the cohort excels at for throwing. It will hold any line you put it on and does not like to fade at all under average power. Very much a point and shoot style disc. If you throw it hard and fast it will have a gentle glide to the right, but does not turn and burn.

My only complaint is that it is only available in R-blend and D-Blend currently, so trees can be rough on the disc.

For putting, this disc is also a very welcome addition to my bag. I have always struggled to maintain a putting putter in the bag, mostly because I'm a terrible putter! However, the cohort is perfect for guarded greens, shaping putts, and sinking loooong putts. It is my main putter, and I will step up to a tomb or ruin if the wind is high, but usually I stick with my cohorts. I putt with 170g for that extra glide and carry, but have two full weight for throwing/putting, One beat up, One new.

I am very excited to see this in a premium plastic like C-blend or S-blend, preferably!

The cohort has become my number one throwing putter. I feel very confident in it. I put a little hyzer flip on it, and it pops up straight with a little turn and finishes straight. The R-blend plastic breaks in very nicely and has great grip. I would recommend it to anyone. It doesn't matter if your just starting or if you play at a professional level. It will find a place in your bag.

The R-Blend Cohort feels amazing in the hand and is very grippy. I also love the feel and appearance of the round beadless rim and super flat top. It has great glide and is easy to control. I love this disc for approach shots because it holds whatever line you put it on. I use my cohort for almost any shot 200 ft. and closer. This disc is a great putting and throwing putter for players of all levels.

I loved throwing the Cohort and preferred the R-Blend soft, grippy plastic as an alternative feel to my more firm Tomb discs, though the flight patterns for those two discs are quite similar. The Cohort is beadless, as opposed to the beaded Tomb, but otherwise, the flight is quite similar, though I think the Cohort has slightly more fade than my beat-in Tomb. I think that the Cohort is particularly comfortable for forehand throwers with the rim configuration, and the R-Blend has a nice flat top as well (the D-Blend is slightly more domey).

I'd say that the Cohort is more of an "approach disc" than a putting putter. If you want to putt with it, you may want to try the more firm D-Blend edition, unless you're in cold, wet conditions and need the added grip of the R-Blend. The downside to the R-Blend is that it doesn't seem to take tree hits very well. My disc already has some noticeable dings and dents from tree hits, since I throw it as a short-range driver and it can't absorb those higher-speed collisions without some damage to the disc.

Consider the Cohort another addition to the growing field of small-diameter mid-range and approach discs that have a "putter" feel but that thread a needle on tight throwing lines. I like it!

This is a fantastic throwing or putting putter dependent on your preferences. I love this disc because I think it fills a putter gap that I haven't experienced from any other company. The only current con I personally have with this disc is that it is only in R-Pro Plastic at my time of writing. This disc holds a great slightly overstable line and the feel is the best I have felt for a forehand in a putter as it has a nice shallow beadless rim. That is what makes this disc so unique as it also has a super flat top! I am eager to get a premium plastic version of this disc!

The Cohort is a very interesting entry into infinites putter line as it feels very much so geared towards throwing. The cohort has no bead and a nice round wing with a flat top in the R-blend plastic. I've thrown the cohort in the R-blend and D-blend and can confirm the R-blend was definitely the better of the 2. My Cohort is about 175g.

The Cohort flies very, very straight with almost no fade to it at all with moderate power. The Cohort doesn't really turn much in its flight until you give it angle or are throwing it considerably hard and it generally will hold the line it was put on once it is in the air. The glide on the Cohort is good this disc really floats when you get it spinning almost reminiscent of a lid. The Cohort for putting was a bit weird, i feel as those the cohort is a bit on the larger size in diameter which made the grip a little weird for me but it holds a putt nice and true if you find it fits your hand. The Cohort's really geared towards that short approach or medium length putter drive down a tight hallway and as such it doesn't really handle the other duties a disc would well. Forehand is workable but you need to throw it pretty much stand still and for touch not for distance.

The Cohort seems to perform nicely in tailwinds with that long glide it generally stays in the air for awhile, however in head and cross winds this disc can get upset quickly maybe a more stable plastic type could aid in that.

The Cohort is a great disc for beginners i feel as though anyone can grab this disc and get a nice smooth flight out of it.

Overall I was surprised with how much I liked the Cohort and I'll occasional toss it in the bag for wooded courses since its a fun throw. I would say 4/5 is applicable because i think this disc could benefit being made in a slightly more stable plastic type like star to be a useful thrower since the Rblend is really only at its best when the weather cools down or for those who prefer a more rubbery feel but will beat up and warp quite quickly in its best suited role.
